Hi!
How’s it going?
My name is Micaela.
This is Part 2 of our Kyoto adventure.
After my experience as a real authentic Japanese 舞妓, we went to a downtown to some old fashioned 商店街s.
We went to the 商店街 and we searched for local food, so we are here at what?...錦…商店街 or something?
And we’re going to go and look around and see if we can get some fresh Kyoto produced vegetables.

ワインの瓶の・・・?
What are they?...Vegetable cutters? like or when you’re making food.
Cute and you can use them to like make cooking fun and…so…
That’s why I’m going to buy this one the hart shape.
And I’m going to use it everyday…Oh my god.
So excited.

(1:04)
We’ve walked up and down this 商店街 and we’ve looked at a million different stores and we have finally bought all the ingredients for tonight’s 鍋.
We bought vegetables at the vegetable stand we bought 「豆腐は豆腐stand.」
We’ve bought a spoon, a hand-made spoon that’s supposed to last for years and we’re so excited to go home and eat.
(1:30)
Now we are here in this lovely house.
We’ll be spending the night and we’re also cooking the vegetables that we bought today.

Kyoto has been absolutely amazing.
It’s nice to see a traditional city, remain…traditional and yet still be so functional.
If you’re interested in knowing more, check out the link in the description box and check out the videos on the Nestle webpage and there’ll be a new video next week.
So good bye!
