[ Radium Emanation Bath Salts (ca. 1925) ] ラジウム入浴剤

Described by the manufacturer, the Denver Radium Service, as being good for nervous disorders, insomnia, general debility, arthritis, and rheumatism. The directions read, "Empty contents in a quart of hot water. After a few moments add to regular bath solution. Remain in bath 45 minutes with cover over top of tub. Upon leaving bath relax in bed for one hour."

製造業者 Denver Radium Serviceの記述によれば、神経障害・不眠・全身衰弱・関節炎・リウマチに効く。用法には「内容物を1/4ガロン（0.946リットル）のお湯に入れる。これを、少し時間がたったら、通常の風呂の湯に加える。浴槽のフタを閉めて風呂に45分間とどまる。風呂を出たらベッドの上で1時間リラックスする」とある。

The radium-containing salts were disposed of because they were absorbing moisture and damaging the cardboard container. According to the FDA's Notice of Judgment 2036 (1946) a similar bath salts product from the Denver Radium Service contained "Epsom Salt-Radium Chloride 1 microgram."

ラジウム含有塩は水分を吸収して段ボール容器が損傷していたため廃棄された。1946年のFDAのNotice of Judgment 2036には「Denver Radium Serviceの同様の入浴塩製品から硫化マグネシウムと塩化ラジウムが1μg検出された」とある。

1パックに硫酸マグネシウムと塩化ラジウムあわせて1μgだが、成分比不明。塩化ラジウムだけで1μgかつラジウムはすべてRa226とすると3万ベクレル。硫酸マグネシウムのもあるので、もっと小さく、おそらく湯の花レベル。
