Worst of all are the sections where he films her while sleeping, which is not cutesy, but a gross violation of trust and consent. Not that any of the other footage is consensual. It's a shame, for Benedetta Barzini is a fascinating subject, and the old interview footage and the coverage of the feminist courses she gives are riveting. If the entire documentary had been about that, it would not have been this unethical.
