Chief Nozat, the bandits have gathered outside the villages. There are about ten of themn apparently, no more.

Ten ? Why has such a big squad been sent to deal with ten monkeys ? Is this a zoo or something !? Pah ! The King seems paranoid sometimes. I highly doubt that just ten people have killed and burnt those knights.
