Unexpectedly supported by Hoikade, Faratrass manages to wipe out some Laxulean troops. Making sure not to leave any trace of their passage, the group moves on. And so, Faratrass finally gets to the Midnight shrine, where shiori is waiting for her. Once a sacred place, the Shrine has been abandoned for ages, and now lies in ruins. But for Faratrass, this place is precious. Here she'll finally put an end to her suffering. Or at least, that's what she believes. In the middle of those ruins, something awaits...
思いがけずホイカーデ軍の援護を受けたファートラスはラズリス軍を壊滅させることに成功する。一行は戦いの痕跡を残さないように進軍を続ける。そしてファートラス一行は、ついにシオリが待つ真夜中の神殿へとたどり着く。かつて聖地であった神殿は長い期間放置したため荒廃し、廃墟と化していた。しかしファートラスにとって、ここはかけがえのない場所であり、ようやく苦しみが終わる場所であった。少なくとも、彼女はそう信じていた。
