ティロル人とは？
ヴァリヴェール星系の先住民で、ファントマの衛星のひとつであるティロルを故郷とする。
かつては比較的平和な人々であったが、宇宙時代のさなか、科学者ゾア・デリルダが遠い星で「生命の花」と「プロトカルチャー (資源)」を発見した。この強力な物質の可能性を発見したある集団は、この発見を掌握し、その力を使って勢力を拡大し、徐々にチロルとその人々を支配し、永遠に変えていった。ロボテック・マスターと呼ばれる者たちは、自分たちの意のままに文明を捻じ曲げ、やがて強烈な精神的条件付け、優生学、カーストに基づく古典主義、プロパガンダ、歴史修正主義によってあらゆる面を支配し、受容的で忠実な国民を作り上げることを意図した。数世代のうちに共和制ティロルは消滅し、宇宙の征服を企む専制ファシズム帝国、ロボテック・マスターズ帝国に取って代わられた。ロボテック・マスターズによってティロルの歴史が堕落し、支配を確実にするために意図的に嘘を植え付けられたため、ローカルグループとその周辺銀河系に拡大した帝国の統治は不明である。
しかし、プロトカルチャーを発見し、その秘密を一人で解き明かした科学者ゾアがプロトカルチャー・マトリックスを盗み出し、「かなり反乱」として知られることを始めたとき、帝国は衰退し始めた。続く電力不足と戦争や反乱によって帝国は急速に崩壊し、最終的には蹂躙され、いくつかの異なる派閥に分裂した。ロボテックマスターたちは第2次星間戦争でマトリックスを追って地球上で戦死した。

What are Tirolians?
native inhabitants to the Valivarre system, their homeworld is Tirol, one of the moons of Fantoma.
Once, they were a relatively peaceful people, however in the midst of their space age, the scientist Zor discovered the Flower of Life and Protoculture upon a distant world. Discovering the potential of this powerful substance, a group seized this discovery and used its powers to expand their influence, slowly taking over and changing Tirol and its people forever. These so called Robotech Masters twisted the civilization to their will and in time, controlled every facet of it through intense psycho conditioning, eugenics, caste based classicism, propaganda and historical revisionism intended to create an accepting and loyal population. Within a few generations, Tirol as it was had vanished and was replaced with the Robotech Masters Empire, a tyrannical fascist empire bent on the conquest of the universe. The corruption of the Tirolians history by the Robotech Masters and the purposeful lies planted by them to ensure control mean that the reign of the Empire as it expanded across the Local Group and its surrounding areas of the galaxy is unknown.
However, the Empire began to decline when Zor, the scientist who discovered Protoculture and alone unlocked its secrets began what was known as the "Quite Rebellion" by stealing the Protoculture Matrix. The ensuing power shortage, compounded by wars and rebellions saw the Empire quickly collapse until it was eventually overrun and shattered into several different remaining factions. The Robotech Masters themselves died over Earth in their pursuit of the Matrix during the Second Robotech War.

ムジカ・ノヴァによってメイト（仲間）に指導者から選ばれるたゾル人の三位一体の戦士の１人（正確には『１組』と呼称するのが正しい）。

カルノは、ムジカによって拒絶され、そのため、彼ら（三位一体なので）は、プロトカルチャー (資源)のマトリックスを回復することと、地球人類を退けること、更には侵入してくるインビッドと抗戦することに専念しました。
