- On the Evolution of Invid -
( Text by Hideki Kakinuma )
[ The true setting of Invid ] .
Why do visitors from space aim at the earth? Why would such a thoughtful race, which did not destroy itself by fighting among itself in the long, long history until it had the great technology that enabled it to travel light-years in space, use force to revive another planet? The existence of "aliens who possess incomparably advanced scientific power but use it to invade the earth" is an eternal mystery.
At the time, I was too embarrassed to set up a fiction that an alien life form would invade the earth in order to gain territory.
So I convinced myself that what the Invid wanted was not matter, but a race of people who would travel forever in search of the "potential of life.
A race that has been given the mission to continue to explore the possibilities of life, not as genes, but as a state of life.
The actions of the Invid are an invasion from the perspective of humanity, but they are not aware of this.
Their bio-engineering is advanced enough, but one day, they come into contact with alien life and are greatly surprised.
No matter how advanced the computer is, it cannot predict the diversity of life in the universe! At the same time, they foresee the existence of "perfect life" somewhere in the universe, and set out on an eternal journey in search of it, or to become it themselves.
They absorb the life they encounter in the stars, and continue their never-ending journey in search of perfection. And after learning something from the life on earth, we will start our eternal journey again. In other words, if you let it, the Invid will go out on its own. And after the Invid leaves, even the lost nature will be revived!
However, the human race, fearing the Invid, is prepared to turn most of the earth's surface into scorched earth, and decides to launch a major counterattack with the ultimate weapon.
However, the Invid, having already achieved their goal, turn into light and leave the human race behind.
What did the Invid gain from life on Earth?
This was the basic setting I had in mind before designing the Invid.
[Version of Invid]
Humans trace their evolutionary process from history to fetus, from fish to amphibian to mouse. The Invid can output from anywhere in this process, depending on its function. The various versions, from Eager to Gorth, are all hundreds of millions of years in the past, and they can be "generated" in any number necessary to cope with their functions.
To put it in human terms, they can tamper with their own genes to produce 100 apes or 200 lizards.
The apes and lizards are enough to deal with the apes (humans) who come to interfere with their noble goals.
The above setting is hardly shown in the anime. The only thing that was mentioned was the fact that there were more advanced invites guarding the base as it approached the reflex point. For my purposes, the enemies of the power suit should be insects. And they should come in many varieties.
Sobre la evolución del Invid

[El verdadero escenario de Invid].
