The college was a noisy blip on the quiet outskirts of Asheville, North Carolina. Some claimed the dorm got its name from being built on a Native American burial ground. But it was most likely because whiskey practically poured out of the water fountains and showers. Even Sarah had a fifth of Jack Daniels tucked beneath her futon like a responsible student. But thats not why she was in a rush today. In the lobby, she flashed the dorm security her student ID. “Where is he? ” she panted. “Huh? ” replied Evelyn, a punk-rock senior who looked up from her H. P. Lovecraft horror novel. Sarah, a disheveled hippie by comparison, tied her long brown dreadlocks into a messy ponytail. “Ah, ” Evelyn mused. “You must be looking for the mailman. ” “Hell. Yes. ” “Well, hes over there doing his job so-” “Wham, bam, and thank you maam! ” “Ugh, get a life, ” Evelyn muttered, burying her nose back in the book. Sarah whisked past the lobby sofas to a huge wall of mailboxes: one for each of the 400 rooms in the dorm. Kneeling with his back to her was Jacky the mailman. His shoulder-length blonde hair and large biceps screamed Im a California surfer who washed up on the east coast. Sarah admired his work as he stuffed handfuls of student loans into poor freshmans mailboxes. And considering the cost of student loans these days, he may as well have been stuffing them up their asses. “Sup, my dude? ” greeted Sarah, leaning against the wall. Jacky looked up with a grin. “Yo! Now let me, right? ” “Sweet! So you did remember. Bring me any good news today? ” “Sure did! I got something good whipped up for you and Winston. ” He combed through his messenger bag while Sarah drooled at the sight of his brown, form-fitting uniform. “And here we go! ” he announced, fishing out two envelopes. “Now I know exactly what these are. Lets just say theyre not bills. ” “Ah, I think Im picking up what youre putting down. See ya tomorrow! ” She headed toward the dorm stairs. “But tomorrows Sunday, ” his voice trailed off in the distance. Oh trust me, I know, she thought. But your Facebook profile is open 24/7. She began the seven-story climb in an old, crumbling building with no elevator. Halls 200, 300, and 400 were the male quarters: home to cheap beer and Jägerbombs. Halls 500, 600, and 700 were for the ladies: home to cheap beer and Cranberry Red Bull Jägerbombs. At the top floor, Sarahs calves cramped and pulsed. Being a recreational smoker took a toll on her cardio. And while she was in great shape, it was because she was known to pass up snacks for weed. Which was fortunate because all of North Carolina, including this campus, was now 4/20-friendly beginning this year. Through the crack of the door her South Korean roommate, Gigi Moon, applied makeup as sweat dripped down her forehead. “Ugh, they still havent fixed the fucking AC? ” Sarah scoffed, flinging the door wide open and fanning her face with the mail. Gigi spun around in her swivel chair with a nervous grin. “Nope! Looks like S. A. U. wants everybody to cleanse their pores with delicious sodium chloride. Maybe theyre hazing us! ” “Welcome to college, I suppose. Youve got mascara dripping down your face, by the way, ” Sarah said. Gigi parted her long, jet-black hair and dabbed her cheek. “So…is your brother awake? ” “Beats me. Hey now, you werent dolling yourself up just for him ? were you? ” “What? He and I are not-” Gigi started, but turned to the mirror to finish her lipstick instead. “How the hell do the men in this dorm have it so much better than us anyway? Ever since we moved in its been blood, sweat, and stairs. ” “Oh, and dont forget that theyre testing 5G internet on the 300 Hall! ” Gigi cheered. “Grrreat! And now theyre gonna download a terabyte of porn and ruin it for the rest of us. ” Sarah tore open the envelope like a lion ripping apart a gazelle. “To think we only have one goddamn washer and dryer in a dorm full of, finally! Looks like I got my season tickets. ” “Oh…yeah. Same here, ” Gigi said nonchalantly, zeroing in on her red lipstick. “Ya know, ” Sarah trailed off. “You could make a point to actually attend every game. Its free alcohol if youre smart. And not to mention, Winston will be there. ” Gigi dropped her lipstick, leaving a long red streak in the sink. “But he doesnt even complement my personal convictions, maintain seamless hygiene, or share my penchant for fine cosmetics! ” A blank stare from Sarah. “I mean…hes not my type? ” “Yeah, youre right, ” Sarah agreed, massaging Gigis shoulders. “Hes too rough around the edges for a kosher gal like yourself. ” Sure enough, Winston Beavers was the poster child of a rural Texas gun show. And Sarah, a left-leaning hipster, always butted heads with his ‘Murican tastes. Winston craved McDonalds; Sarah leaned Panera Bread. Winston shopped at Walmart; Sarah would get lost in a Whole Foods. Winston drank Folgers out of an old coffee mug; Sarah spent five dollars on an espresso every morning. So maybe thats why Asheville felt more like a home to Sarah than to Winston. Everything was local, free-range, and much more expensive. “Look, its noon already, ” Sarah said. “Lets wake his ass up. ” Gigi immediately shot to her feet, a little too eagerly. She put on her glasses, smoothed out her yellow sundress, and slipped into a pair of bright matching flats. “Okay, lets go! ” At the 300 Hall entrance, a strong breeze cooled their skin. And right away, they could see, hear, and smell the difference. Most students doors were open, airing out the smell of weed as freshmen roamed around aimlessly in their boxers. Some double-fisted beer and mimosas. And one guy covered his head, slumped in the corner like a tornado drill. And none of them seemed to pay any mind to these two young women who walked past them toward Room 309. “ the hell is this place? ” Sarah mouthed as a random guy offered her a joint. “Did I descend four floors into heaven? Why dont we have cool shit like this? ” “Beats me! I guess the gents know how to take advantage of a good situation! ” The “situation” was that there were currently no resident assistants in the building. The RAs - AKA the Campus 5-0 - were currently in orientation. And they were due to begin work any day now. But until then, it was The Purge in Firewater Dorm: any and all crime was legal. In front of Room 309, Gigi straightened her skirt once again. Sarah jabbed her elbow into her ribs. “I think you should be the one to wake him up. His tickle spot is right below his belly button. ” “Youre. unbelievable, ya know! ” Gigi mouthed with a twisted smirk, masking her frustration. Sarah knocked on the ajar door. Winstons roommate, Tai Maple, stepped out and held a lighter up to the joint in Sarahs mouth. He was a lean black guy with gold-rimmed glasses, matching earrings, and a dark purple sweater. Sarah closed her eyes, inhaling her first hit of weed for the day. “Looking for Winston? You might not wanna go in there! ” Tai warned. He had the smooth, creamy voice of an R&B singer, but Tai had dreams of appearing on Broadway instead. In fact, he disclosed this to practically everybody he met. And Tai had the image for it. The sensitivity of Frank Ocean on his best days, and the naiveté of Urkel on his worst. And maybe that was a fitting comparison, because he, like at least one of those fellows, was gay. Sarah inhaled, then coughed. “Actually, I think she does, ” she said, pointing at Gigi. Tai crossed his arms and scoffed. “Be my guest. But Im not responsible for what you see, hear, or taste in there. ” Realizing she was todays pick, Gigi stepped past him into the darkness. She found the light switch with her hand, but hesitated. She had already seen several pairs of colorful boxer briefs this morning, so she feared what might be waiting for her in that bed. The 300 Hall was a sausage fest, and she and Sarah were mechanically-separated tofu. “Hey, ston? ” she whispered. “Are you awake? ” No response. She took a deep breath and flicked the switch. “It looks like the game starts in a few hours, and your sister and I just want to make sure that - waaah! ” When the lights kicked on, Winston was actually fully clothed. That wasnt the problem. On either side of him were two topless redheads. Winstons favorite flavor, and probably twins. One girl shrieked, covering her chest while the other mumbled in a drunken stupor. But eventually she too locked eyes with a blushing Gigi, then froze. The girl wrapped herself in Winstons sheets, and dashed out of the room behind her sister. Gigi stared at their bodies as they sprinted down the hallway, wondering how she ever missed out on a blessing from the boob fairy. Sarah and Tai filed in, laughing their asses off. They stared down at a snoring Winston, who managed to still sleep through it all. A husky, “country-strong” young man with a full beard. Winston was dressed from neck to toe in one-piece fleece pajamas. Bright red and white (the school colors) and tiny beavers printed on every square inch. Not only was “Beavers” Winstons last name, but the South App Beavers was also the schools mascot. As an avid football fan, Winston loved all the attention this got him. Sarah, on the other hand, now hated her last name. Winstons snoring finally woke him up with a start. He sat up against the wall and ran his fingers through his disheveled medium-length brown hair. “Now either I dreamed that one of those girls was a

Rabid Videos Movie Info A "Plain-Jane" designer is having difficultly standing out in the world of high fashion among flawlessly beautiful models including her own roommate. Relegated to the role of seamstress for a world-renowned designer, Sarah wants nothing more than to be noticed for her own designs. When she witnesses the closeness of her model roommate with Brad, the photographer she has grown close to, Sarah rushes from a party feeling angry and hurt. A resulting traffic accident leaves her with significant scars on her face and body. Based on the referral from her apologetic roommate, Sarah meets with a renowned plastic surgeon that convinces her to undergo a highly experimental healing procedure that uses stems cells to speed up and improve healing. She recovers to find herself looking as beautiful as the models she works with. Sarah finds her confidence and sexual appetite is also increased leading to several torrid sexual encounters. Unbeknownst to her, Sarah sets off a spiraling contagion, as within 24 hours her lovers become rabid, violent spreaders of death and disease. As the disease mutates, it spreads through society at an accelerated rate causing an ever-increasing number of people to rampage through the streets in a violent and bloody killing spree. The now out of control disease draws the attention of the CDC and the nefarious plastic surgeon out to find the cure. The spreading violence around them impedes them from discovering the truth. Sarah is both the source of the disease and its time is running out. Seeing animals suffer from Rabies is heartbreaking ?

So... where is the imdb for this 2019 one anyway. The only thing I can find is the 1977 horror Rabid. I love the Soska sisters. American Mary was brilliant. That wasn't a fluke. They know what they're doing. But no one, absolutely no one can do Crononberg.
That being said, someone give the twisted twins a big budget affair. They deserve it. Had a glimmer of promise and they rode that glimmer straight into the toilet. Don't waste tour time.
Not a single movie Id like to see. It's legal to shoot all feral cats in Australia. Watch full length besnilogs. Why people even bother to make such these and dare to call them movies. I wonder.

That fox only had a seizure, if it was rabies that part should've killed it. Wow. this looks SO terrible ???? The acting, the casting, oh my god. I can't wait for this to be nominated for a Razzie(s. Just curious how often you see this where you live? I am far from a city slicker here in southern Louisiana. I see many types of wild animals every day. Never in my life have I seen 1 single animal obviously suffering from rabies, or hear of any animal or person contracting it.

Garbage. Was this edited in iMovie. Hello popheads, to spice things up a bit I also made this review into a video, its just the text with some pictures/clips/snippets of the songs. I just recorded it with my headphones and edited it with iMovie so the audio/editing are a little crunchy but I did it! Its split into three parts, links will be in each section. Even if you dont like Kpop you might like Red Velvet, its a bold statement but I stand by it. Of the new “generation” of Kpop groups, Red Velvet are unquestionably recognized as being one of the most talented and interesting groups out there. Especially for an idol group theyre very well regarded in South Korea by the general public (so much so that theyre one of the rare Kpop acts to have performed in North Korea) and while they havent achieved the same kind of penetration outside of their domestic region that some of their peers have, every Kpop fan worth their salt has a Red Velvet song or two in their library. Simply put theyre just… good. Great, really. Their success isnt built off of memes or rabid twitter stans, its based off of the undeniable quality of their releases. Their releases are solid from front to back (unusual for Kpop, a style infamous for having disposable B-sides) and even if they arent always successful, theyre always interesting. Red Velvet are so named because their concept is that they have two sides: The “Red” side, which releases bright, upbeat music (exemplified by their first album The Red) and the “Velvet” side, which is more lush and mature (exemplified by their mini-album The Velvet. In an industry so based around branding and finding a niche it was a bold move to create a group whose brand was specifically versatility, a group who could and would deliver on any concept. On top of that the group has a commitment to experimentalism, delivering unconventional songs and surreal visuals You never know what Red Velvet are going to do next, theyre just as at home on an R&B slow jam as they are on a chirpy pop song, but they could also flip it up and do something else entirely. Theyre a force to be reckoned with in not just the Kpop scene but the pop scene in general, proving time and time again that they can transcend beyond just novelty to deliver amazing pop music. So when they title an album The Perfect Red Velvet, take them seriously. The Album Okay so I ended that last section a little dramatically but really, the album is good! Though putting the word “Perfect” in your album title might seem like a bold statement, the actual function of the word is a little bit less exciting. Red Velvet titled their second album Perfect Velvet because it was a followup to their previous “velvet” album, just titled The Velvet, and this album was meant to show a more “updated” version of that sound. Perfect Velvet was later reissued with three additional tracks, and this repackage was titled The Perfect Red Velvet. This name change is intentional and signals an interesting thematic move on the part of the group/their company. Whereas the original The Velvet was all ballads/slow jams, Perfect Velvet included a number of uptempo dance songs that pushed the definition of their “velvet” side, and when three additional tracks were added for the repackage the distinction between “red” and “velvet” was lost entirely. Rather than the abandonment of their concept this represents an evolution of it. Rather than deciding whether this album will be “mature” or “fun” they decide that it can be both; the ideals behind “red” and “velvet” arent opposites, theyre perfect compliments to one another. In a lot of ways its a fairly simple idea but in actual execution it feels shockingly unique. Pop albums that are this dark are rarely also this upbeat, and the combination is winning. The album is firmly a pop album, but in the tracklist it also touches on r&b, soul, disco, hip-hop, and more. Even for the notoriously genre blending Kpop industry this is a pretty wide net to cast. Take a peep at the track list of the album and youll notice that almost 50 writers/producers are credited, with lyrics/songwriting/production being handled by almost entirely different groups. Along with domestic writers/producers SM Entertainment are known for buying English demos and repurposing them, which usually leads to a hefty list of contributors. In an era where we crave authenticity Im aware that this might make some people side-eye the album, but I dont think that this style of making an album takes away from its artistic value at all. I think theres something kind of beautiful about tons of writers/producers from around the world all coming together and working to craft one perfect album, guided by the talents and principles of a single talented act. You can see some of the writers talk about it here. However you personally feel about, the results speak for themselves: Every song on The Perfect Red Velvet is unique, yet cohesive with the others. Creating cohesion and taking this “Red/Velvet” fusion idea further is the albums aesthetic. Look at its striking cover art: Pure shades of red and black form the silhouettes of five girls walking away into some strange, unknown landscape, with the title of the album plastered above them in bloody font. The teasers and videos for both Perfect Velvet and The Perfect Red Velvet used a horror movie theme, with Perfect Velvet depicting them as mysterious witches and The Perfect Red Velvet playing up a more ambiguous “bad girls” image. This energy permeates the album in the form of the girls forceful performances and the general “heaviness” of the production giving even the more innocuous songs an air of darkness. Pounding bass, industrial noises, even the softer, lighter songs have an air of gravitas and sophistication to them. Pushing against this heaviness is the actual writing and thematic content of the album. Surprisingly enough, this is an album about young love! Pretty much every song on the album is a love song, and the sweetness of the lyrics balances out the darkness of the production and makes this album “Red Velvet” rather than just “red” or “velvet. ” Contrasting cheerful infatuation with dark/aggressive imagery has always been something Red Velvet flirted with, but they truly realize the potential of the formula on this album to amazing effect. The contradiction of innocence/violence in their music gives it a kind of surreal ambiguity that lets it be appreciated from a number of angles. It captures that love can be scary, violent, and wonderful all at the same time. “Bad Boy” The opening track of the album is also the lead single for the repackage, and, one of the groups biggest hits. This is the “girl crush” song boiled down to its very essence, a booster shot of pure badassery. Its a song about them seducing a boy, and with those cool beats and their dulcet tones its hard not to be seduced as well. What I think really makes this song stand out so much is how subdued it is. Instead of going for volume or braggadocio to convey swagger they instead play the song with a kind of cool confidence that speaks louder than loudness would have. And, like many great pop songs, the chorus is catchy and feels great to sing along to. Dont know Korean? Thats okay, they released an English version of this song as well. Keep this in mind next time you go to a karaoke night! The music video, which features the girls as weapon toting femme fatales, is every bit as visually striking as the song itself. The only bad thing about this song is the weird sounds of high heels that happen in the background of the chorus, I dont know why they included those. “All Right” The most upbeat song on the album is also the most positive! Its a carefree song about letting go of your past baggage, spending some time with friends, and looking forward to tomorrow. This carefree spirit is captured through shimmering disco grooves, and that silly little repeated refrain of “all right, all right, ooh! ” My favorite part is the rap section on the bridge, which is a little bit campy in the best way, and theres some great synth work that comes afterwards. Its one of the more straightforward songs on the album, one of the most “red, ” if you will. It was one of the three tracks added that took the album from Perfect Velvet to The Perfect Red Velvet and I think it was a good addition that helped flesh out the dance friendly side of the album move. “Peek-A-Boo” The lead single for the original Perfect Velvet, a Halloween bop and one of the best “creepy” pop songs out there. The production on this song is so eerie, the synths sound like theyre dusty and broken down and the “la la la la la” refrains are unsettling. Like when the chorus hits and they intone “peek-a-peek-a-boo” over that rusty sounding synth… wowza. The lyrics use games as metaphors to describe how a girl feels towards her crush, and while theyre overtly cute when you stick them on this horror movie sounding production they come across as a little creepy. Its like a predator playing with their prey. What really takes this song to the next level is the music video, a surreal short horror film that features the girls as a coven of murderous cultists deceiving and murdering an innocent pizza boy. Watching this video is what made me a fan of the group and their unique style, this kind of dark but fun pop combined with strange, striking, puzzling visuals is something I dont think anyone else is quite doing right now. “Look” This is a disco cut but I feel like theres a bit of an r&b flair to it as well. Its one of the songs on the album I dont have particularly strong feelings about but its also one of the songs that stuck out to me the most when first listening to the album. The vocal arrangement of the song with all of the weird melodies and looping vocals is very interesting and it all works very well with the heavy dance beats. Like a lot of
