Star Wars 1 : A NEW HOPE Star Wars 9 : NO HOPE edited : watched this film, while i HATED 'Last Jedi' I REALLY LIKED 'Rise of Skywalker' thanks JJ haha. I saw the original as a young boy at the cinema in London and was blown away. As a 51 year old now, my expectation may have changed, but my fascination has not. I watched this tonight with an open mind and came away impressed. Very impressed. So many want to hate on this, because it wasn't the ending they wanted. Is any ending ever what you want? The acting was great, Daisy Ridley is thoroughly believable, as is Adam Driver. There were ample epic, monolithic and awe inspiring parts to this. I no longer buy into Pawgs or Ewoks - but at least Jah Jah Binks didn't cameo! This is a solid 10 from me. A fitting end to this story. Don't let the haters convince you. Lucas sold his right to finish this, and JJ Abrams did a stellar job here. I'm sad it's over. Genuinely.I liked the reference to, “Red 5”, when Rey was piloting Lukes X-Wing...
