There were a number of things which took place that absolutely would not have happened during WWI, or any war for that matter. The acting is superb, and the dialogue is well written. The cinematography is amazing, and the visually are stunning. It is slow paced, but not in a terrible way, yet also not in a great way either. It's right in the middle. I recommend seeing this movie and deciding for yourself.
