First of all, I had no idea that the ひらがな posters would be so popular.
I ended up buying…how many…3more.
I have so many ひらがな posters that I don’t know what to do with them.
Maybe I put them in my bath.
And the winners have been selected randomly by a random number generator and I actually spent so much time counting.
It took forever.

Second of all, I wanted to just talk briefly about the YouTube Japan Next UP contest.
So many content creators on YouTube have been talking about it, but nobody’s really taken the time to explain what it is…kind of…

Next up is a contest for YouTube partners.
They will select up to 10 users…10 partners and they’re going to give them a cash prize or a money a money prize of like 20,000$ ２００万円.
It’s kind of like (used this toward YouTube ??) buy cameras, lenses, lights, tripods,…I don’t know computers.
Right now until August 8th they have the public voting where users can go… youtube.com/nextup and click the little button in the top corner, change it to Japan.

Probably not going to watch all of them but I’m sure that there’re people and videos that you recognize and you can vote for more than 1 person and there will be more than 1 winner, so really the people that you think deserved a shot, vote for all of them.
It’s not fair to say that any one person deserves to win more than another because so many people have put time into their videos that I think obviously it’s up to you to make the decision for yourself... who do you think is going to really benefit from this program…you know…like who’s going to like... who has room to improve... you know stuff like that

From now on until August 8th I will be campaigning for people to vote for me because that’s just the way a contest works but like I mean I have a chance just as much as everyone else and I’m going to try hardest to win and it’s not because I don’t think I deserve it more than anyone else.
