How’s it going?
My name is Micaela and I really need to have a bath.
Luckily for me bathing is a big part of Japanese culture.
You might remember last year I did a video about public bathing, the Japanese culture of 温泉 or hot springs, but the truth is bathing is a big part of Japanese home life as well.
Now I don’t know what country you live in and I’m not sure if I speak for everyone when I say this, but I’m content with having a shower every day.

I think I have a bath about once or twice a year, but in Japan people bathe like it’s their night job.
I have to say since coming to Japan I’ve enjoyed having a bath a lot more and Japan special variety of bath (high?) products makes having a bath that much more interesting.
It’s like this much more interesting.

There’s fun products like salt chocolate bath from Paris I guess or there’s weird ones like coffee bath or snail slime bath.
Yes, in Japan they believe that snail slime makes you beautiful.

There’re bath soaps that claim to give you beautiful skin like an anime character and there’re bath soaps that claim that can help you lose weight.
