Hi y'all, I'm back and finally able to say how I feel about this movie. I finished this movie over an hour ago, it was. is) one of the best movies I've ever seen. Some parts in it needed something more. For me, whether Jane forgives me or not, wants to be rescued or not, I would save her, any way I can. To make sure that "family" doesnt go after or bother Jane ever again, I would finish them off in a mixed styles of the endings from apocalypse now and taxi driver. But still, it was a great movie. I give it 8/10.

The ending of the movie, I'm only slightly conflicted when Jane and Heidi are reunited. I do not care what anyone else says, but I mostly and truly believe w/ all my heart & soul that Jane realizes what she did was wrong and is slowly recovering from it. One step at a time. Later, Jane finds Heidi in the new hotel, to be reunited/together again and beg for forgiveness. then face their problems, their dreams again and their futures, head on together. as for eiza gonzalez, it was one of the greatest performances she ever did (so far. SHE DESERVES AN OSCAR. For her performance as Jane and another statue for her performance in another movie she did. "Paradise hills" she played as amarna. even though she did small roles recently, I love all her characters and all the hard work she put into them. But she's not being fully recognized enough for her talents/gifts. And she should be. Because what I've seen in her t.v. show (from dusk till dawn: the series) and in both paradise hills and she's missing, she deserves an Emmy and couple of oscars. Because she deserves them 1,000. br> I give the movie 8/10, but I give eiza Gonzalez 1000/1000.

TW: assault, animal abuse, and attack mentioned. Oh hi gang, it's me again! Haven't shared in a while and I have something to fill you in on over the past few months. But first this ? This happened yesterday and I'm still baffled but mostly pleased with the outcome. Check my post history to fill yourselves in if you want. Also, I don't give anyone permission to use or share this, or any previous post of mine. My life isn't your monetary gain so don't even attempt to message me and ask. Okay, so the headline there basically sums up the best part of my Saturday: JNMIL got arrested! Why, you ask? Well because she decided to take on our front gate and the wave of dogs that met her at it! So yesterday I got home from a morning event job and took all the dogs for a walk. After all the cold snowy weather we had here a 50 degree day felt like summer, so we were gone for almost two hours. When we got back there was a car parked about 200ft down the road which I noticed right away because our closest neighbor is 3 acres away, so their guests would have no reason to be parked so far from their house. So this put me on alert right away. DH got some flowers here before V-day and we had wondered if they were from JNMIL. They hadn't been delivered but rather were tied to our front gate with no card, just his name written on the ribbon used to tie it. Our cameras caught someone on video but it was a woman bigger than JNMIL so we weren't sure at the time who it was or whose bidding it was to do that. So I'm watching the car as I'm walking up the hill toward our front gate and I see it start up and start creeping down toward me and the dogs. We move to the dirt shoulder and pick up the pace and thank fuck we did because we were about 40 feet from the gate when the car sped up, pulled across the road to block us, and I see my JNMIL open the door and step out. This vile shitmonster who I've pleasantly been NC with for 18 months is now only 10ft from me. My brain basically exploded with a million thoughts at once and the only one that I could focus on was just to run. Cause she looked like she was all in a rage. So I tore ass up the rest of the hill to the gate, hopped over it, then turned around to open it to get my dogs in. Thankfully this woman isn't exactly the pinnacle of health so all the boys got in safe before she could reach the gate. But of course as I was closing it I swung it too quick so it missed the latch and bounced back open and she threw herself into it as I was closing it again. The top bar hit me right on the chin and knocked me flat on my ass. I was trying to push it closed with my legs and I looked up and I have never felt fear from this woman before, but I felt it then. She looked like Pazuzu was trying to bust out of her, seriously something straight out of an exorcism movie. She was screaming so loud and shrill I couldn't piece together everything but I definitely heard a stream of words that included "you'll die having this baby! " Oh yeah, surprise peeps, I'm pregnant! So I'm pushing the gate, she's pushing it and finally weasels inside. That's when I noticed the bouquet of flowers in her hands and she hit me, still on my ass, with them in one hand and punched me in the head with the other hand. So I kind of scuttled back a foot, flipped onto my knees to get up and run, and turned my back to her for not even a second. It was terrifying but I'm so glad I did. At this point she is still screaming, hitting me, all the dogs are barking like wild, and I guess turning away for a moment pushed one of my babies to his limit because he attacked her. I hate to promote violence but people, it was completely fucking incredible. At this point, I should probably introduce my boys. DH and I have five dogs total, with one specifically being each of ours. We both had one dog when we met and have gotten the other three together. He has a pit/lab mix who is very much attached to him. We also have a dogo argentino, a doberman, a dachshund (not sure that any of the dogs have realized he isn't a big dog too lol), and my akita inu. Not exactly the group of animals I would choose to fuck with. Y'all, it was my doberman that got her. Right across the forearm. The hospital had to use more than 40 staples to close her wounds. They used staples rather than stitches because 1. her alcoholism has damaged her liver so much that she is a crazy high infection risk and 2. they go in faster so they could get her out of the ER and into a cell quicker. I just about died laughing when I learned that fun fact. So I got up as my dog was attacking her. He had already pulled her to the ground and was shaking his head, pausing to regrip, then shake again. I called him off of her and he got off immediately because all our dogs have gone through extensive training since they can be aggressive breeds. Holy shit was there blood everywhere. Honestly I still feel in shock witnessing that. So I was standing there just absolutely baffled, not able to do much besides yell at my dogs to stay back as she was trying to scramble and get back on her feet. I shouldn't have even waited to see if she was okay but stupidly, I did. I had inched over a bit to see how bad it was and she turned around and kicked. She didn't kick me, but she did kick my akita right under his jaw. My akita inu is my service animal folks. She's lucky he is immaculately trained and would never attack. But I hit my limit and I attacked her, spraying her with the pepper spray I take on hikes. Bitch is lucky I didn't use the bear mace or the knife on my belt. So I doused her in the face and turned and ran up to the house and called the cops once I was locked inside with the dogs. It wasn't even until they got there that it was pointed out to me the gate had sliced open my chin. I looked in the mirror and the cut wasn't too bad, but all the blood had soaked into my jacket and made it look quite dramatic. So I ended up going to the hospital to get stitched up and have them check on my baby. I'm just shy of 5 months along and thankfully I'm not showing much, otherwise the gate would have smashed into my belly rather than my face. Baby is totally fine thankfully! I was always told by my doctor my chances of having a child were slim to none, so it's been my number one priority to keep this pregnancy stress free and healthy. She could have ruined it all. And DH is now a mess. He got to the hospital just in tears. He's basically beating himself up for not being there and letting her into our lives at all. But the thing is he didn't invite her over, she found us after a FM revealed themself. He was at work like every normal Saturday, who could have guessed this would happen yesterday of all days? He also, like all of us and our SO's who reside here, had no control over who birthed him. So in no way could this be his fault. Or mine or the dogs'. He was so upset by all this he couldn't even be the one to bathe our doberman to get JNMIL's blood off him. So I did. I just sat in the tub with him and cried. And I fed him about 1000 treats in the process. I love our animals very deeply and have never been more lucky or proud to have them in our lives. Idk what her full plan was but I absolutely feel like my dog saved me. I feel pretty okay about everything that happened so I'm just trying to comfort DH as much as I can. He watched the security footage of everything and I wish he hadn't because it has really disturbed him seeing me ambushed like that and knowing a family member helped JNMIL find us. I'm so happy we have cameras all over our property though because they caught the entire exchange on camera. I was so scared that our dog would be taken and euthanized but that won't be happening. He, along with all our other dogs, have never attacked anyone or has a history of being aggressive so even though he looks vicious he won't be getting legally labeled as such. She was trespassing and assaulted me, we aren't liable for her injuries like she is mine. And my akita's. JNMIL earned herself an additional felony charge by attacking a service animal though. I took my working boy to the vet today and was pist to find her kick chipped two of his teeth. Not bad, no nerve damage and chewing won't be an issue, but still. That cut me deep and I wonder if that's what she was hoping to do. I wish she had kicked me instead. I mean this dog's entire life is centered around keeping me safe and I can't even protect him in return. It's a really shitty feeling to be stuck with let me tell you. I really don't know what more precautions we can take but I'm putting up every possible one before this baby arrives because I don't even feel like I can keep my family safe anymore. And our property. Our beautiful property that we have put so much into now feels marred by her. Part of her in the form of her blood is still on our property and that makes me sick to my stomach. But I absolutely will not be moving. We love it here, we've earned our life and our peace here and I'm really hoping that we can keep that by her getting locked up. So currently JNMIL is still in jail hasn't been bailed out, I have no clue all the charges and fines she'll get charged with, and we have a temporary protection order. She told police she sent a friend to drop off the previous flowers and brought the ones yesterday "for my sweet son to put on her grave when she dies trying to have this child. She can't even have children. Hiding it from me isn't a very godly thing to do, so it leads me to believe she got pregnant using dark help. Demonic births kill the mother so I came as soon as I heard she was having one. " YEAH. Police found a shit ton of rope in her car too, not sure what her full intentions were but the rope coupled with her statement is horrifying. I honestly am still scared, but I flaired this success because she finally got what was coming to her. I'm not looking for advice just needed to let this out because my mind is a jumbled mess right
The Map The Dota 2 map is divided into the Radiant (green and full of life) and Dire (dark and dying) sides. Summoner's rift has mirrored jungles and symmetric lanes. Dota 2 jungle camps are asymmetric in their arrangement and the lanes are asymmetric in tower positions. There are no bushes to hide in but there are trees to hide behind, but these trees can be cut down. The Radiant offlane is the top lane and the Radiant safe lane is the bottom lane. The Dire offlane is the bottom lane and the Dire safe lane is the top lane. An important thing to note in Dota 2 is that here is a difference in Height. The height of the ground on which you stand also affects yours and your allied wards' line of sight. Your ranged auto attacks don't miss but enemies can avoid them either by disjointing them or building an item that grants evasion. Lanes and Roles Role distribution is not the same for every game. In League of Legends, most champs are set into one single role (although a lot more champs are able to flex, Riot tries hard to prevent this). In Dota 2, however, you will see a wide variety of heroes go into a wide variety of roles. To simplify it, Dota divides the roles by farm priority into positions 1 through 5. Position 1 is generally your hard carry - your most typical win condition. They typically have abilities or stats that scale hard granting them a spike in power later in the game, which means you get the best value for your gold. You can correlate this role to that of an ADC. Position 2 is your mid. Mid is usually a more skill based match up since it typically is 1 versus 1. The type of heroes that play mid are ones that can counter the enemy draft or make impactful plays by dictating the tempo of the game. To enable this, it is typically picked last in the draft. Position 3 is best described as your utility, jack of all trades, and generally goes into the offlane. They are usually picked much earlier and they needs to fit into a game plan. Some drafts need a tanky frontliner or a hero that can enable the team with auras (either items or abilities) or hard CC's to initiate team fights or get picks, etc., Position 4 is your "soft" support. Not hard bound to any particular lane, it generally is a hero that doesn't need much experience or gold to get active on the map. This role focuses more on reading the overall movements and progression between the teams and looks for opportunities to kill, save or get objectives. This position compliments the offlaner in building low cost utility and mobility items. In games that go late, you might see them fill some of the original position 3 requirements, while the position 3 tries to scale further. Position 5 is your "hard" support. The support most focused on securing the lanes for your win condition, the hard carry. There are a lot of things you can do to manipulate a lane that you can't do in other games, and since position 5 will be getting very little xp or gold, that's where they specialize. You usually lane with the position 1. This is most often the most misunderstood role. You don't trade in gold and xp as much as opportunity and information. This is why pro team captains typically play position 5. Heroes Just like any MOBA, learning the heroes/champs and their abilities and their ranges takes time. You just need to play more games and get familiarized with them, or demo the heroes you see quite commonly picked in your ELO/MMR. In game, you can click on an enemy hero and your HUD changes to their HUD and you can see their abilities, cooldowns, damages, ranges (hover over the ability to see the range radius), scaling, etc., In Dota 2, Heroes are divided into three categories based on their stats - Strength (STR), Agility (AGI) and Intelligence (INT). Each hero has their own primary attribute. What you need to understand is: Your primary attribute grants you damage (AD). So increase primary attribute to increase auto attack damage. However, many heroes may not require high auto attacking (commonly referred to as right clicking in Dota) DPS and therefore may prefer other stats. For example, Nyx Assassin builds INT items such as Eul Scepter of Divinity, Dagon, etc., Get items that grant you STR stats to gain more raw HP. Get items that grant you AGI stats to gain more attack speed. Get items that grant you INT stats to gain more raw mana. STR stats also grant you HP regen and Magic Resistance but by extremely tiny amounts AGI stats also grant you Armor and Movement Speed but by extremely tiny amounts INT stats also grant you Mana regen and Spell Amp but by extremely tiny amounts So choose items accordingly to your needs. Vision Wards in Dota are a shared resource. Only a few are available in stock and they take a certain amount of time to restock. I don't want to mention numbers because a new patch might either change the cost or stock quantity or restocking duration. Observer wards provide vision over a large area but the vision can be blocked by trees and does not see terrain higher than the place that you placed it on. So, preferably place them on high ground (there are certain marked locations on the map that are considered ideal warding spots - at least for low MMR). Unlike League, wards have an instant fade time, and you cannot see the enemy placing them unless you have true sight over that area. You may only assume that they have placed a ward based on their movement. Sentry wards provide true sight to any allied vision over a smaller area than an observer ward (however, they do not provide vision unlike pink wards in League). Allied vision means that if an ally or an ally controlled unit or ally creeps or an allied observer ward has vision over that area, you can see invis units. Similar to observer wards, Unlike League, wards have an instant fade time, and you cannot see the enemy placing them unless you have true sight over that area. Dust of Appearance - can be used to reveal invisible units in a radius around its cast point. This is essential when chasing or fighting invisible heroes as it not only reveals them but also slows them down. Make sure to cast this almost instantly when enemies go invisible or if you last saw an enemy turn invisible and might be coming towards you. If they get farther away, they won't be affected by dust. Smoke of Deceit - you can use this to shroud your allies in invisibility for some duration (a little over a minute). However, if an enemy appears within a certain radius from you, your invisibility breaks. Smoke ganks are used to hunt down an enemy that is farming in the jungle. It can also be used to detect if an invis hero is nearby (will not reveal them but you will get a general idea of their location, similar to Evelynn when she tries to charm you), as the smoke will break if that were to happen as well. However, make sure not to cast it in an area where enemies had vision of you. If they catch you attempting a smoke gank, they'd be wary and you might waste valuable time. It can also be used to tactically disjoint certain targeted projectiles in a pinch (Sniper's ult). An important thing to note is that, once covered in smoke, you are invisible even to sentry wards that you pass through. Gem of True Sight - this is an item that provides true sight to the holder. It can reveal wards and enemies in a radius around you. However, beware, if you die while holding it, you will drop the item, the item when dropped grants true sight to all units within its radius. Enemies can pick this loot this item and use it for themselves. This cannot be placed in your backpack (backpack - items can be placed in these extra slots but you don't gain any of its stats or effects). Keeping all these in mind, it would be helpful if you have vision in the areas adjacent to a lane to prepare for an incoming gank or to locate that pesky support laner who is trying to poke you. Ogre Magi has a fairly long range on his DoT ability so, try to stay away from him. However, if you're facing a naturally oppressive laner, try to either play it safe by pulling a side camp to farm safely or trying to poke down the harassing enemy so that he can kindly F off. Wave Management Wave management is another beast altogether in Dota. In League, the only wave manipulation is freezing, slow pushing and hard pushing. The only way to achieve this is to either hit minions or don't. In Dota, however, you have a lot more tools at your disposal to either freeze, slow push, hard push, cut waves altogether, etc., Rather than explaining how to freeze, slow push or hard push a wave, I'll explain the different techniques used because you can never achieve one or the other because the enemy laner can also counter it and manipulate the wave to their favour. Body blocking - unlike League where the minions either ghost through you or teleport back to their position in the wave, in Dota, you can block the path of an allied creep by standing in front of them. When they run into you, they will try to walk around you. With enough practice, it becomes almost second nature for you to do this whenever the game starts. You can also do this to manipulate where the wave will meet for new waves of creeps. In some cases you'd want to not block so that the creeps reach the enemy tower, causing the wave to bounce back to you when the new wave arrives. Creep Aggro - you can aggro the creeps by right clicking an enemy hero, no matter where they are on the map. If a creep is within a certain aggro radius around you, they will start rushing towards you. If an allied creep is nearby, walk away a bit until it de-aggros. However, certain heroes have auto cast abilities - Drow Ranger, Clinkz, Viper, Silencer, etc., If you toggle auto cast and then auto attack an enemy, the creeps will aggro onto you. If you cast it as a spell by pressing the key each time, creeps won't aggro you, so you ca

I just wanted to add a few clarifying statements that should answer some repeated questions. -We live in a small rural community in Kansas (not Utah), and the nearest troop that accepts girls is about a 40 minute drive away. My daughter isn't begging to join or I would take her, even with the drive. -I don't hate the Scouts. I said I didn't like them. There's a big difference in my mind between those two statements. I just don't like them enough to want to spend all my free time supporting them. The double standard that I said I do hate was directed at my ex, not Scouts. I want him to have the same standards/expectations for both our kids. -Tom started Cubs when he was in the first grade and is now in his third year of Boy Scouts. He has been doing this for six (almost 7) years. He didn't like Cubs either, but didn't hate it quite as much and the time commitment was a lot less. -I (and Tom) have spoken repeatedly to my ex about this topic over the past several years. It just hasn't had any effect. I will try again, with some of the great tips you all suggested. I will also find another service opportunity to offer, one that Tom can actually enjoy. Tldr at the bottom Background: My son ("Tom")'s dad and I divorced when Tom was 3. Tom is now 13. So far, his dad and I have mostly been successful at co-parenting our two kids (we also have a 14F together). However, my ex is adamant that Tom participate in a service organization that he himself belonged to at that age. He says it will build character and open doors for him in the future. I personally do not like this organization due to their history of homophobia and male exclusivity, which I admit makes me less excited about wanting them to play a role in building my son's "character. " I also hate the double standard (my daughter's character doesn't need building? She doesn't need "doors" opened for her?!? ). Current situation: My son hates going. He complains about it every time. My ex says Tom's just being "lazy" and wants to play on his phone, and to some extent that's true. However, my son also takes music lessons and LOVES them. He has never ONCE complained about having to go to lessons or practice, so being "lazy" definitely isn't the full picture. It's a huge time commitment (two hour weekly meeting + one hour weekly service activity + fundraising + one overnight activity on the weekend per month + 10 days during the summer minimum, and frequent extra service opportunities that his dad expects him to participate in). I am tired of my son missing out on half of the activities I have planned for my kids and I on my weekends (we alternate custody). WIBTA if I tell my ex that if he wants Tom to participate on weekends, it has to be on HIS time? That would mean not only switching weekends (which we often do), but would also mean he would end up with less time with our daughter since she's not allowed to go with them. I don't want to keep him from his kids, but I work full time and like to do fun things with them on weekends. He mostly sits around the house on his weekends with them anyway. His response will be that I have them "all the time" so it's not fair to expect him to give up half of his weekends with his daughter. Tl/dr: My son hates the activity his dad wants him to do. I don't support the organization and it eats up half of "my" weekends with him. WIBTA if I make his dad switch his custody around?
