Glossary of Unit Conditions

absorb next attack Shield of Darkness will absorb the damage from the next attack against this Champion.
arctic wail This unit has -10 DEF.
awestruck This unit has its ATK and DEF cut in half, and its SPD reduced by 2.
backfire The next time your opponent casts a Spell, that Spell fails.
berserked This Champion has -10 DEF as a result of berserking.
block Next time this Champion is the target of a close-combat attack, that attack will fail.
block next attack Granite Bracers will block the next attack against this Champion.
bog trap This area is covered in Water. Whenever a non-flying, non-amphibious, non-aquatic Champion enters this space, it loses all AP.
butterfly wings This Champion gains Flying.
Catapult Catapult is equivalent to Leap 5 and has no cooldown
charmed This Champion has -10 ATK and may not attack the unit that charmed it.
charred This Champion takes Fire damage equal to this effect's duration at the start of each turn.
chilled This Champion takes Frost damage equal to this effect's duration at the start of each turn.
constricted This Champion takes X damage per turn and can only attack constricting unit.
Consumed by Fire This champion is Shielded and may not move, attack, or activate special abilities. At the beginning of your turn, this champion takes 10 Fire Damage.
critical miss A penalty suffered to DEF for critically missing.
cursed This Champion has X SPD, Y ATK and Z DEF.
defender This Champion gains +X DEF.
defensive attack This Champion's DEF is boosted by its defensive position.
defensive stance This Champion gets +X DEF.
deflection Damage from the next attack against this Champion will be deflected to the nearest Champion within a distance equal to the rank of Deflection.
devolve The Champion is reduced to half ATK, DEF, SPD, and DMG.
diseased This Champion takes Disease damage equal to this effect's duration at the start of each turn.
divine dispersal All Champions and Relics will be returned to the rune dock at the end of the turn.
dodge Next time this Champion is the target of a ranged attack, that attack will fail.
draconic benediction This Champion is Flying and has +X ATK, +Y DEF, +Z DMG, +N SPD.
engaged It costs 2 AP to break engagement and move away, and is only possible if this Champion has been engaged since the beginning of the turn.
Enlightened Whenever this champion is healed, the amount is increased by 6.
enraged This Champion has its ATK and DMG amplified by its rage!
ensnared Each move costs an additional 2 AP.
eviscerated This Champion takes Physical damage equal to this effect's duration at the start of each turn.
evolve The Champion gains +4 ATK, +2 SPD, +2 DMG, loses Aquatic, but gains Amphibious.
fatigued This Champion has no AP and cannot take any action.
fire trap Whenever a Champion enters this space, it takes Fire damage.
flame armor This Champion has +X DEF. Whenever this unit is attacked, if the attack is a close-combat attack, the attacking unit takes Y Fire damage.
flying This Champion ignores all movement restrictions and movement penalties imposed by terrain, and ground effects.
force barrier Champions cannot enter this space.
fortification This Shrine gains +15 DEF.
fortify Your Shrine gains 50 HP, even if that fortifies it beyond its normal maximum HP.
frightened This Champion has -10 ATK and may not attack the unit that frightened it.
frozen This unit has -5 DEf, -5 ATK and -2 SPD.
grounded Has lost Flying.
grounded fake This unit was Grounded, but was given Flying again. If that Flying wears off, it will be Grounded again until the effect that Grounded it wears off.
horrific aura Whenever this Champion is attacked, the attacker becomes Frightened and the attack fails.
hungry mire This area is covered in Mud. Whenever a non-flying Champion enters this space, it takes 5 Physical damage and becomes Ensnared 2.
ice terrain This unit has -5 ATK, -2 SPD, -2 DEF.
ice trap Whenever a Champion enters this space, it takes Frost damage and becomes slowed.
ice armor This Champion has +X DEF. Whenever this unit is attacked, if the attack is a close-combat attack, the attacking unit takes Y Frost damage.
illusion This unit is an illusion. It cannot use abilities or attack, cannot take Wild Nora Fonts, and dies if it takes damage.
impervious All damage dealt to this Champion is reduced to 0.
Impregnable This shrine cannot take damage, lose life, or be directly harmed.
incorporeal This Champion is immune to all damage except Magical. It cannot attack, but has flying and ignores all movement restrictions and penalties from terrain. If it loses this condition whilst occupying impassable terrain, it will die.
infectious All non-Diseased, adjacent units become Diseased X, where X is this effect's duration, at the start of each turn.
inhibited This unit cannot be healed or regenerated.
infested Infested Unit loses 8 HP's at the start of each players turn until dead. Once dead, a Parasitic Fesh is spawned.
kithir benefit This unit has its SPD enhanced by its ties to the K'thir Forest!
knock back The next attack this unit makes this turn will cause knock back.
monsoon This area is covered in Water and is Impeding 2.
natures wrath This unit has 0 DEF.
necro weave description If an Undead Champion you control is destroyed, that Champion becomes Playable in your Rune Dock.
neutralized Cannot activate Special Abilities.
nightblade penalty This Champion's DEF is cut in half.
nora globe The remnants of a destroyed Champion.
oaken mace stun This Champion's next attack will cause its victim to become Stunned 2 if it is successful.
pacified Cannot attack or use abilities to attack; cannot engage other Champions.
paralyzed This Champion's DEF is divided by 4 and it loses all AP at the start of each turn. It cannot engage other Champions.
poison cloud Whenever a Champion enters this space, it becomes Poisoned 2.
poison cloud trap Whenever a non-flying champion enters this space, it triggers a Poison Cloud.
poisoned This Champion takes Poison damage equal to this effect's duration at the start of each turn.
polymorphed This unit is a copy of another unit.
possessed This Champion is under the control of someone other than its owner. It has no cast presence.
possession This Champion is under the control of another unit.
Powered This relic is powered.
Plague Victim This unit is the result of a Zombie Plague. It can spread the Zombie Plague but it will not respawn upon death.
Plagued This unit is plagued and will spawn a Festering Corpse belonging to {0} when when the champion dies.
quickening Whenever one of your Champions makes an attack, it immediately makes a second attack for free against the same target.
reanimate When this Champion would be destroyed, it comes back to life at full health.
righteous deflection Whenever this unit is the target of a ranged-combat attack, damage dealt from the attack is dealt to the attacker instead of this unit. This effect is hidden until it triggers the first time.
rooted This Champion may not move or use an ability that causes movement, and cannot engage other units.
Sandblasted This unit has had it's DEF set to 0.
savage benefit This unit has increased maximum HP from its ties to the Savage Tundra!
scoured This Champion takes Acid damage equal to this effect's duration at the start of each turn.
shielded Cannot be the target of spells cast by opponent.
shocked This Champion takes Electricity damage equal to this effect's duration at the start of each turn.
slowed The cost per move and attack is increased by 2.
Soul Frost You gain 1 Nora for each point of damage this champion deals.
spell trap The next time a player casts a spell, Spell Trap deals 5 Physical damage to that player's Shrine. This damage cannot be prevented.
stealth This Champion is hidden from your opponent. Attacking, activating a Special Ability, or having an opposing unit move onto the same space will destealth it.
stunned This Champion has -10 DEF and cannot engage other Champions.
summoned This is a summoned unit. It has no cast presence, it cannot take Wild Nora Fonts and drops no Nora Globe when it dies.
sunder This Champion has X DEF.
sunder axe penalty This Champion has X DEF.
sundering blow This Champion is sundered for -8 DEF.
turtled This unit has 0 SPD.
underdepths benefit This unit has its DMG increased by the Underdepths.
Unpowered This relic is unpowered.
undying When this Champion is destroyed, its controller gains control of an adjacent Champion (chosen at random), and that unit gains this.
unobstructed view Opposing Stealthed units lose the Stealthed condition.
valor This unit has +5 ATK, +3 DEF and +10 DMG.
war cry benefit This Champion gains +5 ATK and +2 DMG until end of turn.
weaken The Champion is weakened for -10 ATK, -5 DEF, -4 SPD and -10 DMG.
