At flat afternoon filled with cowdungs

Buzzings of gadflies

conjure up time to sleep with a calf

A goldenspider weaves his net on the eave of a cowshed

and becomes a center of the whirl-spiraling universe

When evening dusk threatens the valley

at the windless moment

From among clouds high above

a shimmering meteorite

shoots and penetrates taro leaves

in the field
