Very tough on the Greens to lose out, just to the BNP. I've not seen the over all turnout but I guess there was less than 1% between the two. Typically, the BNP were disingenuous, changing the name of their party on the ballot paper by adding 'British Jobs for British Workers' (a phrase they picked up from Gordon Brown). Even so despite this targeting the area by using their high profile leader, Nick Griffin, as their No. 1 candidate they only just squeezed in.
