Which programming languages i should learn before starting with Unity uses C# and has a clever feature which will manipulate your game to work on most platforms with little effort from yourself. I would say just satrt using Unity witht he tutorials as this will teach you the basics of C# programming. Overallprogramming isnt that difficult once you get past learning the syntax. Want to learn unity, but no programming experience. Need guidance I'm really trying to wrap my head around the C# language for Unity, but whenever the tutorials get into the coding part of it, I feel as if they gloss over what they are doing very quickly. A rough example being, "So we want to make the UFO move, we do that by typing etc" and the teacher proceeds to type a  Tired of wasting time. What's the fastest effective way to learn C I first tried C# and XNA and learned basics of code (then forgot) then I tried RPGmaker, made a few events in it, realized too limiting for my needs. I then triedunity3d and was faced with learning to code and I got frustrated so I tried to find a way to visual program things, which I think just delayed me learning  Good advanced Unity C# programming tutorials? - Unity Answers I've watched this series of videos and I was really happy about it! (in specific the Coroutine manager, the object recycler, extensions, actions, LINQ, etc). Not sure if there is any, but what I'm looking for in specific: I want some tutorials on applying programming patterns (Mediator, observer, singleton, etc) on  How long does it takes to learn Unity? | Unity Community - Unity Unity aside to study C# on its own. Instead, just keep working on Unity. Divide your 2 hours a day between doing more tutorials, and hacking on your own project. And whenever you get stuck, post here. (You may find that coding isn't the biggest part of creating a side-scroller especially once you learn to
