Olivias preformance here is truly amazing. Black christmas is actually among my favorite movies of all time! I just find about everything about the movie near perfect! It is further down on my looong list of favorites but it is easily among them.

A slasher where I actually feel genuinely scared for the charecters in this enviornemmt as the killer is just friggin. mad And when that phone rang at the end with that still shot of the house, I felt uneasy going to bed that night. The scariest thing about this movie is that someone in Hollywood green lit the script for it instead of asking the question why is it called Black Christmas when it has nothing to do with the 1974 original or the 2006 remake the movie was doomed the second the title was set in stone I judged it as a remake and so did everyone else the movie could of just been called (A night on Sorority Row) and no one would of cared.

The movie itself follows a group of sorority girls who when a killer threatens to kill them decide to stop playing the vitims and start becoming the final girls that every classic horror movie has just a little smarter and a little more collected. I am all for a movie that has a strong smart and capable female cast that people can root for and show that women can be just as bad ass in horror movies than any man can be but sadly this just isn't the right movie to do it in Black Christmas is an already well known and much loved horror classic and rule number one in any horror movie sequel or remake is don't mess with the original. The cast do a great job and try there best in this movie which they deserve recognition and respect for doing it's just a shame the movie was doomed from the start with a different name the same cast and some script re-writing it might of been looked at differently. I don't recommend watching this movie in theatre's it's not worth the price of a ticket as it will soon be available on streaming services and on DVD but if you have never seen the original or the 2006 remake and your of that new generation you might enjoy it but for anyone who loves the original steer clear of it you won't enjoy it.

Better than Halloween 1978. There I said it. Where's the part where all the girls team up to kick his ass like in the 2019 remake? This is so misogynistic and offensive! Showing women being completely defenseless against a merciless killer? It's like it's a horror movie or something. LOL You can just tell the Professor is evil from his creepy smirk in the i intro sequence. Respectifs les empechent. Im a simple man, I see thicc, i clicc. Das hätte ein sehr interessantes Remake werden können, aber der Trailer zeigt VIEL ZU VIEL. Wer immer den Trailer geschnitten hat, sollte gefeuert werden.
Are you going to kill count the one that is in 2019. This isn't it obviously. This was, in fact, the most masterfully created, directed and acted film I have ever had the honor of watching. It touched a nerve. And not delicately. To unapologetically pull back the veneer of society and expose the sinew and bone beneath is TRUE cinematography. Bravo. Bravo...

I haven't seen Black Christmas. Don't waste your time or money. It a real disappointment.
