現在、公式が主人公である勝生勇利を冷遇していると信じている過激派にとって公式や公式関連の企業は敵である。
また、本作に関わっているスタッフの中には女性が多く、過激派と（おそらく）同性であるそれらのスタッフは俗な貶め方をする際の格好のターゲットとなっている。

コミックマーケットのブース写真の撮影の是非はさておき、2ちゃんねる内で画像を転載し、人が来ていないと嘲笑う。この企業は過激派にとって「指輪窃盗団」のひとつ。

海外イベント出席は監督の婚活
よく知られるように本作の監督は生粋のフィギュアスケートファンであり、海外の選手をアニメ演出の参考にしていることも想像に難くない。

先月末、制作会社より本作の設定資料集が発売された。
その中には、本作内で勝生勇利がコーチに送った揃いの指輪の設定資料が含まれていなかった。ちょうど時を同じくして、本作の作画監督二名がマレーシアのアニメイベントに招かれており、そのイベントのパネルディスカッションで指輪設定画が公開された画像がTwitterなどで拡散された。
「指輪」は過激派にとってコーチと主人公の「絆（というが二次妄想的な恋愛感情も含むと推察）」を示すアイテムであるため、お金を出した設定資料集に載せずに海外で初出しするとは何事かと無しスレ内は騒然となった。
その後、スレ内でamazonのレビュー評価を低くする扇動や資料集発売元のムービックや制作会社であるMAPPAへの電話凸撃推奨などが行われた。
その時、マレーシアへ行っていたスタッフに対する発言がこれだ。過激派が崇めている第一作監もこれに含まれるのだが……。（画像参照）
