I felt a little bad about it, went up patched the hole and didn't even try and get any treats. Mr Powers wasn't a party to the plan. That bit was a little longer because my home life had evaporated while I was away. I got out December 1966 and got poped again in 1967. Got sent to Chino, then one last time at Preston. Mr Powers had died in the mean time. Not gonna say it was all fun and games but it was a part of my life that shaped me, later. I am a better person because of my experiences. Sorry no horror stories of beatings and death. It happend but it's not what comes to mind first. Later things got nasty all over with Racial Hate Brewing, but even 5-6 years later when I would run into guys I knew there, White Brown or Black, there was never any tension.
