What is this trilogy even about? Regardless, I don't care about the main characters or the story anymore. Star Wars has been part of my entire life. My grandparents loved it and we used to watch the OG trilogy all the time together. They brought me to the store to pick out the toys. Now, I'm 31 turning 32 and my grandparents have passed away. This franchise means alot to me and has helped me through the darkest of times. Through depression and loss of friends, family and career changes. I am excited to see how ep. 9 wraps up the Skywalker saga and even more excited to see the future of Star Wars. Esp. after watching the Mandalorian and playing Jedi Fallen Order.

Rey has that one Jedi ability where if someone force sensitive has touched and object then she lives through those memories, like Cal does in Jedi Fallen Order. This actually looks completely new. Doesnt feel like a rehash of Return of the Jedi at all! And we are getting Lando back too! And finally, a badass Kylo. I was hooked on Ian McDiarmid's scenes. He plays The Emperor so flawlessly. OMG this is awesome, I was completely swept away by the quality and the cutting of the recap. I honestly thought it was an official video production. The only good thing about this movie is that it is the last one. br> The new trilogy only succeeded in killing the Star Wars universe. They tried selling the movie with the line "forget everything you know" and that's really what you need to do if you even remotely want to enjoy this movie.

It's an uncreative flick that manages to deliver nothing to either the old Star Wars fans, or even the new Star Wars fans (although I still don't get how anyone can like the new trilogy and say they're Star Wars fans. br> The only consistent in the new trilogy is that they keep getting worse as they go. The Force Awakens was boring and bad, The Last Jedi was uneventful and worse and The Rise of Skywalker is an abomination and the worst. Disney should've stuck to cartoons and childrens' animations. br> Having spoken to several people after the viewing, I have come to understand that people who like the new movies, quite simply never saw the originals. They don't understand the universe and don't want to understand that "their Star Wars" is not Star Wars but just Frozen in space. All we are missing are some songs being sung by the characters, even though Disney came appallingly close in several instances in the movies. Star Wars was never meant to be a logic based space adventure but Disney really excels in even pushing that idea to the limits by making the illogical even more obviously illogical. My overall advice to anyone who is still thinking about seeing the movie is waiting until you can do so for free. There's no reason to spend money to see how bad it actually is.

From the Expanded Universe, the prequels, Rebels, Clone Wars and even the sequels. Sadly, about a year and a half ago my dad past away. This piece of music especially at 2:08, reminds me of all of the moments that I shared with him involving Star Wars. Him having Light Saber battles with me, playing LEGO Star Wars with me, watching the movies with me, helping me build the LEGO Millennium Falcon Christmas morning, him buying me a Commander Cody helmet for me for my 6th birthday, humming to the music, and even seeing The Force Awakens with him on the opening Thursday. This song makes me cry. Its so good and reminds me so much of my dad. Thank you so much for making this piece of music. This is just as good as if John Williams had written it. Its so powerful. What you have done to add onto the music is incredible. I tear up every time I listen to this. Thank you so much. RIP Dad, I love you and I miss you so much EDIT: Thank you all for the support.
