College film student Benjamin Glass (played by writer-director Aaron Fisher) has it all: ADHD, OCD, borderline personality. And he's also bipolar. But Glass is more than his diagnoses - he prefers the term "recklessly extravagant" -- and he's determined to prove his genius. When a misunderstanding threatens to expel him from college, Glass pushes back; he plans on recreating the incident on video, with the help of a moonlighting porn actress (Ellen Toland), to clear his name. But how will he raise the money for the film, when his parents dismiss the scheme as another manic episode? Inside the Rain is a wincingly funny rom-com-drama, anchored by off-kilter performances by co-stars Fisher and Toland. The colorful ensemble cast includes Rosie Perez as a tough love shrink, Eric Roberts as an unhinged film producer, and Catherine Curtin and Paul Schulze as the long-suffering parents. The ultimate underdog film and proof that if you believe in yourself, anything is possible Aaron Fisher Rosie Perez Romance

Inside the rain full movie. Great Song. Wooof! ?. What is CES? The Consumer Electronics Show (CES)?is one of the largest high-tech trade shows in the world and focuses entirely?on technological innovation in consumer electronics.?It takes place every January in Las Vegas and has been running now for over 50 years. This year it is taking place January 9-12. This event brings together professionals, journalists and individual tech aficionados. CES 2017 was a record-breaker, welcoming more?than 4, 000 exhibiting companies and over 180, 000 industry professionals to Las Vegas to showcase the latest innovations from the?global tech industry. What will be the hot?trends of CES 2018? Obviously, we're excited for the next generation of Android devices that are being revealed: smartphones, tablets and?smartwatches. Smartphones aren't the main focus of CES, however, with many manufacturers holding back some big hitters for February's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Having?said that consumer tech has moved beyond smartphones, we can expect to see many more interesting devices and technologies based on last year's developments.?This means?drones, smart home devices and voice assistants, driverless?cars, the internet of things, AI making everything that much more smarter and connected, 3D printers, new kinds of wearables,?plus new accessories for AR and VR. We can expect to see some new drones. / © AndroidPIT Asus: ZenFone Max Plus and disappearing monitor bezels The ZenFone Max Plus is coming to the US, and it's packing an 18:9 5. 7-inch display, a 4, 130 mAh battery and a 16 MP camera on the front and back. Notably, it's the first Asus smartphone to feature Face Unlock, a recent trend among Android devices. It's arriving in February for $229. If you're a gamer or you have a three-monitor PC setup, Asus' Republic of Gamers (ROG) sub-brand has come up with a solution for those pesky monitor bezels. By mounting vertical lenses between the monitors at a 130-degree angle, it makes the displays blend together seamlessly. The Bezel-free Kit will work with non-Asus monitors as well, as long as they're the same size. Acer: New 11-inch Chromebook Acer has?contributed a lot to the diffusion of the Chromebook platform on a global level. At CES, the company showed off its new Chromebook 11 with a price of just $249 to target low budget users. The laptop has a 1366 x 768 display, an Intel Celeron CPU, 2/4 GB RAM and 16/32GB internal memory. The Chromebook also has a long battery life of up to 10 hours. Nvidia's new chips are significantly smaller than the previous generation. / © TechCrunch Huawei: Making it in America Huawei?CEO?Richard Yu had confirmed that?some of Huawei?handsets will soon be?sold by US wireless carriers, starting sometime in 2018. While we were expecting the announcement of a partnership with AT&T for Huawei's?Mate 10?family of devices, it looks like this deal has been cancelled following political pressure from the US government, which has long suspected Huawei of having ties with Chinese espionage. Despite the deal falling through, Huawei announced that it is pushing forward in the US market by selling the Huawei Mate 10 Pro unlocked through retailers like Best Buy, online and in-store, in February. As we would expect, LG could introduce new smartphones, especially in the entry-level and mid-range segments. We already know that a new color variant of the LG V30 will be presented at CES 2018. Dubbed "raspberry rose", the eye-catching color may sway some style-conscious buyers to LG's flagship phablet. The raspberry rose V30: A perfect Valentine's Day gift? But LG makes much more than just phones. Just as most households are getting used to 4K and HDR displays, LG will be using CES 2018 to showcase their brand new baby: A new 88-inch 8K OLED display. A record-breaker in both size and resolution, this prestige piece will without a doubt support?LG display's dominance of large OLED screens. Amazon has its Amazon Echo, Google has its Google Home. LG seems to be interested in this technology with its robots. As part of LG's pivot towards AI, the company revealed three more work robots at CES 2018. These will be new concept robots specifically developed for commercial use at hotels, airports and supermarkets. The robots form part of?LG¡Çs new CLOi (pronounced KLOH-ee) robot brand, and consist of the following: Serving Robot: Intended for work in hotels and airport lounges, this robot has a built in sliding tray and can deliver and serve food or refreshments to customers around the clock. Porter Robot: The hotel experience could be made faster and more convenient with the Porter Robot there to carry luggage and handle check-in and -out service. Shopping Cart Robot: This robot carries a barcode reader which customers can use to scan product prices and see their complete shopping list on the face display. It also works with a smartphone app to help shoppers find what they are looking for in the supermarket. These robots will join the other members of LG's?CLOi family which have had trial runs operating?as cleaners and guides in a Korean airport?and financial institution. Thanks to advances in AI, 2018 could see improvements to the emotional experience of interacting with robots that make their presence more viable in commercial use. Oh my gosh I love that sound. And I can almost smell it too. Absolutely gorgeous. Awkward timing for this trailer * Backs away slowly. Big ups to you Aaron for having the gumption to bring this to the big screen. As a mental health advocate and caregiver to my wife for the past decade, I have seen what this debilitating illness (and side-baring effects such as depression and anxieties) can do to the mind, body and soul of the person and those around them. We haven't watched any movies, actually, pertaining to the illness for fear of a trigger (even though that's an outdated word. Silver Linings Playbook comes to mind, also. I think the greatest fear I have as a caregiver is not knowing what could be the trigger to her not being here tomorrow. And to see that something is going on and have no way of actually helping is quite defeating. Those times are few, however, and the rest of the times are the best anyone could hope for in a lifetime. I wish you success with this movie, Aaron, and with getting the word out.
For a minute I thought he's the same guy who's in the Longest Ride lol thought it was the 2nd sequel. I had to go back to Google. But still think him and Scott Eastwood look a lot alike.

0:31 is the main character of this movie is Mason from misfits. That cat has big bright green eyes, thats a cute boi. Samsung's 98-inch 8K TV. Sarah Tew/CNET This story is part of CES 2020, our complete coverage of the showroom floor and the hottest new tech gadgets around. Just when you were getting used to the idea of TVs with 4K resolution, here's 8K. In 2019 the first 8K TVs went on sale, and right now you can buy an 8K TV from the likes of Samsung, Sony or LG, if you can afford one. In 2020 numerous manufacturers will introduce more 8K TVs, starting next week at CES 2020, and it's safe to assume they'll reach new pricing lows. But they'll still be expensive. That's one reason why we're still years away from 8K TVs being commonplace. "On a unit basis we don't expect 8K to exceed 1% of volume until 2022, " says Stephen Baker, vice president of Industry Analysis at NPD Group. "8K will migrate down in price but it will face a stiffer challenge than 4K, for example, as the price points and the market for very large TVs are now highly established and very price competitive. " But the day will come when 4K goes the way of all those lower resolutions and is replaced by a bigger number. Does this mean 4K TV is already obsolete? Do you need to rush out and buy an 8K TV or risk being unable to watch your favorite shows? Should you throw your brand-new TV out the window in a fit of disgust at its appallingly low 4K resolution? The answer to all of these questions is "no. " Here's why. 8K TV buying advice: Don't Before we get into the nitty gritty, here's a quick summary of our current thinking regarding 8K TVs. Unless you have money to burn, don't even consider buying one right now. From what we've seen, there's very little image quality improvement over 4K TVs. Any image quality improvement we've seen required sitting very close to a very large screen. To get the most out of any 8K TV, you need actual 8K content. There's basically no 8K content (movies and TV shows) available right now and little prospect of any in the next year. In the next few years 8K TVs will get cheaper and perhaps actually be worth considering. Now that you've slid your wallet back into your pocket, sit back and soak in everything there is to know about 8K TVs today. What is 8K? A traditional HDTV from a few years ago is 1080p, which means it has 1, 920 pixels horizontally, and 1, 080 vertically. Many digital cinema projectors -- the ones in movie theaters -- have a resolution of 2, 048x1, 080. Because it's common in Hollywood-speak to only refer to the horizontal resolution, they call that "2K, " but it's basically the same as the HDTV 1080p you have at home. Mathias Appel/HDMI Licensing The term "4K" comes from the digital cinema side, too, with a horizontal resolution of 4, 096, hence "4K. " However, on the TV side, manufacturing efficiencies meant we got double the horizontal and vertical resolutions of 1080p HDTV, so 3, 840 by 2, 160 pixels. Everyone colloquially calls this "4K, " though the technical term is Ultra HD. This has four times as many pixels as 1080p HD. Which brings us to 8K. You guessed it: twice the horizontal and vertical resolution of 4K, for a whopping 7, 680x4, 320 and 33, 177, 600 total pixels. Not only is that 4 times the resolution of 4K, that's an incredible 16 times more pixels than 1080p. Or to put that differently, you could put 16 full-resolution 1080p videos on an 8K screen at the same time with no loss of quality. I'm not sure why you'd want to do this, but hey, why not? TV resolutions Resolution name Horizontal x vertical pixels Total pixels Other names Found on 8K 7, 680x4, 320 33, 177, 600 8K Ultra HD, Ultra High-Definition (UHD), Super Hi-Vision, UHD-2 High-end TVs 4K 3, 840x2, 160 8, 294, 400 Ultra High-Definition (UHD) Most modern TVs 1080p 1, 920x1, 080 2, 073, 600 High-Definition (HD) Smaller, less-expensive, and older TVs 720p 1, 280x720 921, 600 Even smaller, and older, TVs Consumer Technology Association's 8K Ultra HD logo CTA One thing to look for in new 8K TVs: there will be an official logo and "spec" for 8K TVs from 2020 onward. This goes beyond raw pixel count to help consumers find TVs that perform to at least a certain standard. This is partly to avoid the mess from the early days of HD and 4K, where some of the TVs couldn't accept a 4K signal. The Consumer Technology Association lays out the following minimums a TV is required to have to wear the 8K Ultra HD logo (seen to the right): At least 7, 680 pixels horizontally and 4, 320 vertically. At least one HDMI input capable of accepting that resolution, at 50 or 60 fps (depending on region), with HDR. The ability to upconvert lower resolution signals to 8K. The ability to receive, and display, 10-bit content. Do you need 8K? Not even a little. As we've explained many times with 4K TVs, there's a point of diminishing returns when it comes to resolution. The human eye can only see so much detail, and extra pixels beyond what you can discern are basically wasted. To get anything out of higher resolutions and their proportionally tinier pixels, you need to sit closer, get a bigger TV, or both. Now playing: Watch this: Samsung's first 8K TV is an 85-inch beast 1:33 It's rare that anyone gets a large enough TV -- or sits close enough to one -- to justify the need for 4K resolutions. 8K is excessive overkill¡Ä at least for a TV. If you're talking about massive theater-size screens like Samsung's Wall or Sony's Cledis, 8K would be amazing. But since 4K is hard to discern when comparing to a 1080p TV, 4K to 8K from 10 feet away will be pretty much impossible. That said, because 8K TVs are currently at most expensive offerings from a company, they often also have features that help it produce some stunning images that have nothing to do with resolution. So 8K TVs likely look great, regardless of their pixel count. What about content? Without 8K content, an 8K TV is just a 4K TV with a few thousand dollars stuck to it with masking tape. Samsung talked up fancy "AI" upscaling technology on the Q900, designed to improve the look of mere 4K and 1080p sources on an 8K screen. And other TV makers like Sony and LG touted their own 8K special sauce at CES. But to get the most out of all those 33 million-plus pixels, the incoming source needs to be 8K too. There are three main aspects to getting any new format viewable in your home: the content itself, transmission and playback. The Samsung 8K TV and others that will surely follow represent the playback side, that is, the TV or projector in your home. That's the easy part. The first Sony 8K TVs are really, really big at CES 2019 1:49 Content is tougher. First off, there are only just a few cinema cameras capable of capturing 8K. Japan's NHK has been dabbling, and will likely transmit a significant portion of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in 8K. There has been some 8K content shot at the last several Olympics, so expect even more. There are a handful of channels on YouTube that showcase 8K content, mostly nature documentaries and the like. Red, one of the main camera companies used for Hollywood movies, has several models that can record in this resolution, as do a few others. Interestingly, there have already been feature films shot in 8K. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was the first, followed by Mortal Engines, The New Mutants and a few others that are upcoming. Creating 8K content is more challenging, as the cost for these cameras, plus the computers and storage capable of dealing with hundreds of terabytes, if not multiple peta bytes of information, do not come cheap. The Red Monstro 8K VV "Brain" has a 35. 4-megapixel CMOS sensor, can record 8K video at 60 fps, has over 17 stops of dynamic range, and costs -- brace yourself -- $54, 500. Red When I say there's "no" content, that's a bit of hyperbole. There are some videos showing up online, as more and more content producers are experimenting with the format. However, it's going to be a long time before you start seeing your favorite shows or movies in 8K. Lots of megabits = new HDMI cables Getting the 8K onto your new 8K TV is also a bit of a challenge. Ideally, the TV's internal apps will be 8K compatible. You'd think that'd be a given, but it wasn't in the early days of 4K. Further, there's no 8K content from the likes of Netflix, Amazon or Vudu. YouTube, as you see in the video above, is one option, as is Vimeo. Eventually, ATSC 3. 0, also known as Next Gen TV, might allow 8K to be broadcast over the air, but we're a long way from that. 8K also presents another issue for the early adopter: the bandwidth required is going to be ridiculous. Most 4K content providers recommend you have an internet connection in the 20Mbps range. 8K, even with everything else the same, has four times as many pixels. That doesn't equate exactly to a 4x increase in data or bandwidth, but, and this is just a ballpark guess, a connection requirement in the 40 to 50Mbps range wouldn't be unexpected. Maybe you, dear CNET reader, have that kind of speed, but the vast majority of people do not. A visual representation of how much more bandwidth the upcoming Ultra High Speed cables can handle. HDMI Forum Interestingly, we've already got the physical connection thing sorted, if any 8K media streamers hit the market. HDMI 2. 1 is capable of 8K resolutions and more. But before you rush out and stock up on HDMI 2. 1-compatible cables, keep in mind there will almost certainly be a new standard between now and wide adoption of 8K. So those cables might be obsolete, despite their current forward-looking appearance. All of the major 8K TV makers say that their sets have HDMI 2. 1 inputs capable of handling the 48Mbps bandwidth required for the highest resolution and frame-rate combinations (8K and 60 frames per second and 4K at 120 FPS). We also got a look at some new, higher-bandwidth HDMI cables. Why, CNET, whyyyyy??? To put on my cynic hat, increasing resolution is one of the easiest ways to o

Panasonic¡Çs aim when developing the GZ2000 was to make the most accurate consumer TV ever. To achieve this they began by developing a bespoke OLED panel in conjunction with LG Display (who makes all the OLED panels regardless of manufacturer). Panasonic then added its own image processing to create a TV designed from the ground up to supposedly deliver an uncompromising picture performance. This effort wasn¡Çt just born of a desire to create the perfect display for Joe Pulbic, Panasonic also had its eye on professional users. Current grading monitors used in post-production facilities are 32 inches in size, but often filmmakers need a larger display to check their work. The GZ2000 was designed to meet this need, thus continuing Panasonic¡Çs claim that it brings ¡ÆHollywood to your home¡Ç. However, the company hasn¡Çt just concentrated on picture quality, it also developed a new sound system in conjunction with its Technics subsidiary. This system is based around a forward-facing speaker bar with built-in subwoofers and upward-firing speakers for overhead effects. There¡Çs also support for Dolby Atmos, and both versions of HDR with dynamic metadata ? HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. All this makes the GZ2000 a very tempting flagship proposition. The GZ2000 comes in two screen sizes: the TX-55GZ2000 55-inch version tested here (¡ò3, 299), and the TX-65GZ2000 65-inch model (¡ò3, 999). The Panasonic GZ2000 has a design that is both understated and stylish, with a black metal finish and minimal bezel. At the bottom of the panel is the forward-facing speaker bar, and the panel sits on a centrally mounted stand that provides solid support (although wall-mounting is an option). The build quality is excellent, with an all-metal construction that hints at the TV¡Çs semi-professional status. At the rear are the built-in subwoofers and upward-firing speakers that combine with the front-firing drivers to create a genuine immersive audio experience. There¡Çs an excellent set of connections at the rear left of the panel (as you face the screen), with four HDMI 2. 0b inputs that support 4K/60p, HDCP 2. 2, ALLM (auto low latency mode), and high dynamic range (HDR10, hybrid log-gamma (HLG), HDR10+ and Dolby Vision). There are also dual Freeview Play and HD satellite tuners; three USB ports (one of which you can use for hard-drive recording); an optical digital input; a shared component video and stereo phono input; an Ethernet port; and a 3. 5mm jack that doubles as a headphone socket and subwoofer output. In terms of wireless connections, there¡Çs built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The included remote is a natty silver brushed metal number that reflects the GZ2000¡Çs flagship status. It¡Çs fairly large but fits comfortably in palm, making it easy to use with one hand. It has a useful backlight and the buttons are laid out intuitively, making controlling the TV straightforward. The Panasonic GZ2000 uses the latest version (4. 0) of the company¡Çs My Home Screen smart platform. It isn¡Çt as sophisticated as competing smart systems, but the reality is that most people don¡Çt actually use all the bells and whistles that more cutting-edge platforms offer. My Home Screen provides a basic home page onto which you can pin your favourite apps. This customisation feature keeps things clean and simple, making it easy to quickly find all the apps you use regularly. There¡Çs a dedicated button on the remote for Netflix, and a second button that can be assigned to any app you like (Amazon Prime for example). There¡Çs a full complement of video streaming apps, including Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube and Freeview Play. The only major services missing are Now TV and Apple TV, but the latter is currently exclusive to Samsung. There¡Çs also a well-designed EPG (electronic programme guide) that is integrated into the smart system. The best thing about this relatively simple platform is that it¡Çs effective, robust and responsive. The platform allows you to access your home network for streaming content, as well as work with Alexa and Google Assistant to provide a degree of voice control. In terms of other alternatives to the provided remote, there¡Çs also a control app for iOS and Android devices. The Panasonic GZ2000¡Çs big selling point is its customised OLED panel, which the company refers to as the ¡ÆProfessional Edition¡Ç. This has been developed in conjunction with panel manufacturer LG Display, and promises to deliver the best and most accurate images yet from a consumer TV. Panasonic claims the benefits include deeper blacks, richer colours and brighter highlights that approach the accuracy of a professional mastering monitor. The panel itself might be a joint effort, but the processing is 100 per cent Panasonic. The GZ2000 uses the HCX Pro Intelligent processor, which incorporates the company¡Çs decades of experience in manufacturing premium TVs and professional broadcast equipment. The processing has also been tuned by a Hollywood colourist to ensure the GZ2000 delivers images that remain true to the director¡Çs original creative intentions. The processor itself applies machine learning algorithms to deliver the best possible upscaling, noise reduction and motion enhancements. The GZ2000 also supports every version of high dynamic range, including the two dynamic metadata formats ? HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. However, even HDR content that uses static metadata can be enhanced thanks to processing that analyses the signal and dynamically adjusts the tone mapping. The best 4K TVs for gaming, movies and more in 2020 The GZ2000 streams Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube in 4K and HDR where available. In the case of Netflix it also supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, while Amazon supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Netflix even offers a special calibrated mode to get the most from its services, although there are calibrated THX modes available as well. All 4K video signals are processed using Panasonic¡Çs high-precision chroma processor. The Panasonic GZ2000 includes a bespoke sound system developed in conjunction with subsidiary company Technics. This system is based around a forward-facing speaker bar, built-in subwoofers and two upward-firing Atmos speakers. The latter bounce acoustic beams off the ceiling, creating the illusion of sounds emanating from overhead. The integrated sound system doesn¡Çt just support Dolby Atmos, it also includes a Space Tuning feature. This optimises the acoustic performance based on the size and shape of the room relative to the primary viewing position. It isn¡Çt an audio-calibration feature, which would equalise the sound for the specific acoustic signature of the room itself, but it can result in a better experience. The GZ2000 generally sounds very good, with a front soundstage that has width and definition. The speaker bar delivers good stereo separation and imaging, while the centre channel ensures clear and focused dialogue. There¡Çs extensive amplification built-in, and the result is a sound that¡Çs big enough to complement the stunning visuals on screen. The sound system handles regular TV particularly well, with music, and effects all rendered with clarity. The Rugby World Cup provides plenty of opportunity for the GZ2000 to produce a big, room-filling sound that helps immerse you in the sporting action on screen. TV shows with a surround mix also sound great, although the soundstage is focused at the front of the room. The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix has a fantastic Dolby Atmos mix, and the GZ2000¡Çs sound system does an excellent job of delivering the various spooky sound effects. A scene set during a thunderstorm benefits from rain and thunder overhead, while music and dialogue is handled with precision. The terrorist-related action of Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime also benefits from Atmos, with gunfire and explosions peppering the front of the room. Of course, there are limitations to what this sound system can achieve. For a start there are no rear speakers, so don¡Çt expect any surround presence. In addition, the built-in subwoofers are fairly limited and don¡Çt deliver any really deep bass. As a result the audio can sometimes sound a little thin, with minimal depth. However, you can easily fix this by simply plugging in a separate subwoofer, and if you do the difference is remarkable. When you consider the lengths to which Panasonic has gone in creating the GZ2000, it won¡Çt come as a surprise to discover it produces the best images yet seen from a consumer TV. For a start the new panel ensures the blacks are suitably inky, but the colours are rich and saturated. The uniformity is also excellent, while the whites are crisp, clean and free of any discolouration. The superior colour performance is in part thanks to the HCX Pro Intelligent processor, which separates the colour elements from the luminance to better reproduce details in brighter scenes. And for an OLED this TV is very bright, hitting 1, 000nits with HDR content. That does mean more heat is generated, but Panasonic employs cooling techniques developed from its plasma days. Select one of the pre-calibrated modes (THX or ISF) and you¡Çre greeted by a staggering level of image accuracy. All video content is created using specific industry standards ? the closer a display adheres to those standards, the more the content creator¡Çs intent is retained The GZ2000 nails those standards right out of the box, with an unerring precision. What this basically means is that whether you¡Çre watching SDR or HDR content, the GZ2000 is delivering exactly what the director intended. That might not seem so important when watching Bake Off or the rugby, bu
