A musím povedať, že som za to vďačný. Tie úpravy na Sonicovi veľmi pomohli k tomu, aby sa film stal lepším zážitkom. Minimálne na pohľad tvorcovia na filme odviedli veľký kus roboty a vyplatilo sa. Okrem toho je tu veľa scénok, kde musím povedať, že veľmi dobre sa kombinuje realita s animáciou. A vo väčšine scénok so Sonicom som veril, že tam skutočne bol. Takže v tomto smere gratulujem. Príbeh je podľa mňa dosť predvídateľný, no na druhú stranu ide o jednoduchý rodinný film. Takže v tom prípade neočakávam nejako moc. A v rámci toho čo film ponúka to podľa mňa funguje. Ben Schwartz je vynikajúci ako Sonic. Veril som mu to v každom ohľade. Rovnako si celý film ale užíva aj veľký Jim Carrey. Ten je do role Doktora Robotnicka tak ponorený, že všetky scénky s ním majú nejakú momentku. Jeho charizma a talent na fyzické herectvo tam výrazne preráža. Je to Jim Carrey a robí si proste čo chce a funguje to. James Marsden je z týchto postáv zaujímavý najmenej. Dokopy je to len hlavný ľudský hrdina, ktorý si prechádza podobnými osudmi ako všetci ostatní ľudskí hrdinovia v týchto filmoch. A slúži skôr ako nástroj než ako reálna postava. Napriek tomu, že sa tvorcovia mu snažia dať nejakú osobnosť je to len kopec klišé. Akčné scénky sú podľa mňa skvelé. Či už naháňačka na diaľnici s veľkým tankom alebo potom naháňačka cez rôzne miesta pomocou zlatých krúžkov. V tomto ohľade je všetko zvládnuté na najlepšiu. Keby som bol decko, zožeriem to aj s navijakom. Ako dospelý a fanúšik Sonica si užívam nostalgiu a dobrú zábavu. Takže verdikt znie, že ak chcete vidieť hraný film so Sonicom, toto je dobrá voľba. Jim Carrey alias Eggman je rozhodně nejzapamatovatelnější postavou a jsem rád, že si roli neskutečně užíval (póza alá Ace Ventura mu zkrátka sedí nejvíc). Rozhodně nečekejte žádný úžasný herecký výkony, ale postavy jsou pohodový a budou bavit. Pokud dáváte pozor (kolikrát ani nemusíte), tak tu uvidíte spoustu Easter eggů. Top za mě bylo zastavení času jako Quick Silver z X-menů a pak kecy o rodině aneb Domenic z Rychle a zběsile. Jako bonus uznávám sovu na začátku filmu, která byla hodně hrdá. Abych jen nechválil, tak si třeba nepamatuju jedinou písničku z filmu. Sonic se pohybuje na několika úrovních rychlosti, který nedávají smysl, proč je nepoužívá častěji. Každopádně, film mě bavil a s tím jsem šel do kina, nemusí to dávat dokonalý smysl (na to jsou jiný filmy). Scény po titulcích jasně naznačují, že bychom měli očekávat pokračování a já doufám, že se ho dočkáme.
