There, but for the grace of God, goes Maud, a reclusive young nurse whose impressionable demeanor causes her to pursue a pious path of Christian devotion after an obscure trauma. Glass tenderly captures this relationship with an empathetic gaze that first assumes an ethereal, dreamlike atmosphere - but it isn't long before Maud's dogmatic candor incites an irreconcilable friction that spirals her mind into a suffocating confluence of creeping doubt and paranoia. As Glass tightens the screws on her misguided martyr, well-placed nods are made to religious horror forerunners like William Friedkin's The Exorcist, further contributing to the film's increasingly dread-filled malaise. This movie just shows you that you don't need the darkness to create a good horror movie. edit: I know there's a lot of people who dislike this movie and that's totally fine, this is purely my opinion and what blew me away was the sophisticated symbolism, use of colour and Pugh's acting.Saint maud release.

I thought this was gonna be a twisted psychological thriller about the very first cow hoarder who slowly went insane, submitted into bestiality and ended up discovering milk while trying to avoid incarceration/institutionalization from the townspeople.
Uncut Gems is this a movie about circumcision. The trailer music is so good, I know its “Pray 4 Love” but they remixed it somehow and it sounds even more lit.
