Level 1 Well I'm absolutely shocked. /s level 1 Damn. I was really looking forward to being physically repulsed by this film soon. level 2 I thought this movie was about a nun with a messiah complex, which probably make the audience nervous a bit, maybe one or two people die, and have a sad ending. Or maybe she's not so delusional after a plot twist. The way you speaks it sounds like straight up horror. level 2 A24 cares too much about theatrical experiences to do that. Or at least for the films that they have genuine faith in. For example they chose to re-release First Cow instead of rushing on digital like the rest of the March releases. level 2 I could see the PFFR affiliated film going straight to VOD (False Positive). If it's anything like previous PFFR works it will be too weird for a wide release, even compared to A24 level weird. level 1 I’m fine with A24 movies being pulled from April release, so long as I get to see it in theaters eventually. level 2 Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. Seems like a pretty reasonable stance.

From the trailer it seems like this Welsh chick is a bit of a nutcase who had an episode while nursing - either having the episode and killing a patient, or having the episode due to a patient dying, but stayed in the sector and moved over to private care. The main psychological aspects will be, like a lot of horror movies these days, whether she is straight crazy or whether god (or something else) is 'talking to her'. She's intensely lonely and latches onto the American woman for showing a bit of kindness, but my guess is that the American woman knows this and is cruelly manipulating her with all the little 'angel' comments. The Welsh one will probably get more and more delusional near the end, finally snapping and killing her. But hey, that's just a theory.
