Cat owners may wish to be more cautious about contact with their pets, as a study from China has revealed Covid-19 can be transmitted between cats. The team, at Harbin Veterinary Research Institute in China, found that cats are highly susceptible to Covid-19 and appear to be able to transmit the virus through respiratory droplets to other cats. Dogs, chickens, pigs and ducks were found to be unlikely to catch the infection, however. The findings followed recent reports of a pet cat in Belgium being infected with Covid-19. About a week after the cat’s owner started showing symptoms, the cat also developed breathing difficulties, diarrhoea and vomiting, and subsequent tests by vets at the University of Liège showed the animal was infected with coronavirus. The lab experiments from the Chinese team involved a small number of animals that were given a high dose of the virus and there is no direct evidence that cats would also be able to infect people. However, the team behind the work said their findings provided important insights into the animal reservoirs of Covid-19 and how animal management might have a role in the control of the pandemic. “Surveillance for Sars-CoV-2 in cats should be considered as an adjunct to elimination of of Covid-19 in humans, ” the paper concluded. The work, which is not yet peer-reviewed, was uploaded to the preprint website bioRxiv on Wednesday. In the study, five cats were inoculated with coronavirus. Three of the animals were placed in cages next to cats that had not been given the virus, and one of the exposed cats also became infected, suggesting that transmission occurred through respiratory droplets. The findings were then replicated in a second group of cats. Ferrets, which are already being used in vaccine trials for Covid-19, were also found to be susceptible. Experts said the findings were credible, but that they did not indicate cats were an important vector in spreading the disease between humans. Prof Eric Fèvre, chair of veterinary infectious diseases at the University of Liverpool, said: “People should take usual precautions of hand washing when handling their pets, and avoid overly intimate contact, especially if sick with Covid. It is important to add that this says nothing about how the virus coming out of a cat may or may not be infectious to humans. ” Prof Jonathan Ball, a virologist at the University of Nottingham, said similar observations of transmission in cats had been made in relation to Sars, which is genetically closely related to Covid-19. “However, it should be remembered that cats are not playing much, if any, role in the spread of this virus, ” he said. “Human to human transmission is clearly the main driver, so there is no need to panic about cats as an important source of virus. Obviously, if you think you have Covid-19 and share a house with a cat, then it would be sensible to limit close interactions with your furry friend until you are better. ”.

Eliot. The film is directed by Tom Hooper ?in his second feature musical following Les Misérables (2012)?from a screenplay by Lee Hall and Hooper and features an ensemble cast, including James Corden, Judi Dench, Jason Derulo, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, Ian McKellen, Taylor Swift, Rebel Wilson, and Francesca Hayward. Cats was theatrically released in the United Kingdom and the United States on 20 December 2019, by Universal Pictures. The film received generally unfavourable reviews from critics, who criticized the CGI effects, plot, and tone, with many calling it one of the worst films of 2019. The film also became a box-office bomb, grossing $74 million on a budget as high as $100 million. Plot Victoria, a young white cat, is dropped in the streets of London by her owner in the middle of the night. The alley cats witnessing this introduce themselves to her as the " Jellicles ". Two toms, meek magician Mr. Mistoffelees who develops a crush on Victoria and the loyal Munkustrap, and two queens, the snooty Cassandra and Demeter, take Victoria under their wing and show her the world of the Jellicles as they hype up the Jellicle Ball, an annual ceremony where cats compete for the chance to go to the Heaviside Layer and be granted a new life. Throughout the film, the competitors are introduced and express their contributions to the community: Jennyanydots, a domestic tabby, boosts the productivity of mice and roaches; the Rum Tum Tugger, a flirtatious tom who riles up the others; Bustopher Jones, a bourgeois cat who boasts about his weight and shares food scraps from the garbage; Skimbleshanks, a tidy ginger cat who taps along the railway; Gus, an aged theatre cat who has played some of the biggest roles in history; and Macavity, a villainous stray with the power to apparate and who kidnaps the other contestants (save for Tugger) in order to be made the Jellicle Choice by default. Victoria also happens to meet the mischievous twins Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer who enjoy causing trouble and messing with things in the house of their human family. They convince Victoria to join in the fun, but leave her tangled up in some necklaces when the family dog is alerted to their presence. Luckily, Mr. Mistoffelees comes to rescue Victoria, distracting the dog and escaping with her. They return to the group, just in time to see the arrival of the tribe's wise and beloved matriarch Old Deuteronomy. The Jellicle Ball commences inside the abandoned Egyptian Theatre. Victoria dances a ballet solo in the moonlight but is distracted by Cassandra harassing Grizabella, a former member of the tribe who was banished for, among other things, her past allegiance with Macavity. Victoria relates to Grizabella's feelings of abandonment. As Grizabella slinks away into the streets, Old Deuteronomy witnesses their quiet camaraderie and assures Victoria that she can become a Jellicle herself in time. The Ball is interrupted by femme fatale Bombalurina, who performs a song and dance number dedicated to Macavity: a distraction to incapacitate the party with catnip. Macavity arrives, demanding to be made the Jellicle Choice. Old Deuteronomy deems him unworthy and is subsequently kidnapped and placed with Macavity's other victims. As the Jellicles recuperate, distraught over their leader's disappearance, Victoria suggests that Mr. Mistoffelees use his powers to conjure Old Deuteronomy back. He tries a few times, eventually making Old Deuteronomy reappear. The cats rejoice and praise Mr. Mistoffeles; he and Victoria dance together. Meanwhile, Jennyanydots, via a costume change, frees herself and the other cats kidnapped by Macavity. Macavity apparates away, leaving his lackey to walk the plank at the mercy of the emancipated cats. Grizabella returns to the Egyptian. Victoria vouches for her and urges her to sing her true feelings. Grizabella proceeds to sing a passionate ballad about her mistakes, her former glory, and her beauty, sentiments that touch the hearts of the Jellicles. Old Deuteronomy names Grizabella the Jellicle Choice and sends her off to the Heaviside Layer in a chandelier (repaired by Mr. Mistoffelees' magic to float like a hot air balloon). Macavity, in one last attempt to reach the Heaviside Layer, leaps onto a rope from the chandelier but falls onto Nelson's Column. The Jellicles, reunited with their kidnapped brethren, and perched on a lion statue, watch Grizabella ascend as the morning sun appears above the horizon. After the congregation disperses, Old Deuteronomy welcomes Victoria to the tribe. Cast Production Development An animated film adaptation based on the musical was initially planned by Amblimation in the 1990s, but was abandoned with the studio's closure. [27] In December 2013, Andrew Lloyd Webber, creator and composer of the musical stage production Cats, teased that Universal Pictures, which had purchased the film rights to Cats many years earlier, was putting the project into active development. [28] In February 2016, it was reported that Tom Hooper was in negotiations to direct the film, and was considering actresses, including Suki Waterhouse, to star. [29] In May 2016, Hooper was confirmed as director. [30] In January 2018, Hooper and Working Title began officially casting for the film, while looking into the technical aspect of whether the film would be entirely live-action or computer generated or a mix of both, [ citation needed] with Lloyd Webber announcing he would be writing a new song for the film adaptation. [31] On 24 October 2019, it was announced that the new song is titled " Beautiful Ghosts ", written by Taylor Swift and Lloyd Webber. [32] The song will be sung by Francesca Hayward, followed later in a reprise by Judi Dench, with a credits version sung by Swift. [33] The version sung by Swift was released on 15 November 2019. [34] Casting In June 2018, there were reports Anne Hathaway was considered for a role in the film, but she passed due to scheduling conflict. [35] In July 2018, Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift, James Corden, and Ian McKellen joined the cast. [36] Swift had previously tested for the role of Éponine in Tom Hooper's Les Misérables but was given the part of Bombalurina without an audition. [37] In September 2018, Laurie Davidson and Mette Towley were cast, with Steven Spielberg announced to be executive producing. [38] [39] In October 2018, Idris Elba and Judi Dench joined the cast of the film. [40] [41] Dench was cast in the original stage musical, but was forced to pull out due to a torn Achilles tendon; Lloyd Webber and Hooper decided to make Old Deuteronomy a woman and offered her the role. [42] In November 2018, ballet dancers Francesca Hayward and Steven McRae as well as Rebel Wilson, Jason Derulo, and Robert Fairchild joined the cast of the film with rehearsals commencing at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire, England. [43] [44] [45] [46] Andy Blankenbuehler choreographed the film, after Wayne McGregor was forced to back out due to scheduling conflicts. [47] Blankenbuehler also choreographed the stage musical's 2016 Broadway revival. In December 2018, Les Twins and Eric Underwood joined the cast. [48] Filming Principal photography began on 12 December 2018, [48] and wrapped on 2 April 2019. [49] Swift said that the cast attended "cat school", in which "We would literally do hours on end of barefoot crawling on the floor, hissing at each other". [50] Hooper said at the 16 December world premiere that he had finished the film "at 8am the previous day after 36 hours in a row". [51] [52] Music Music for the film was composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber. A "highlights" edition of the soundtrack with a running time of 59 minutes was released on 20 December 2019, by Polydor Records and in the US by Republic Records. [53] The song " Beautiful Ghosts " by Taylor Swift, a single from the soundtrack album, was released on 15 November 2019. Though it teeters on the verge of being strange, there's still something quite magical and elegant about Hooper's adaptation of Webber's classic show. Bringing a musical from stage to screen is no easy feat, but he pulls it off. That said, for those who aren't familiar with musical theater, acting for the stage, or the performing arts in general, the?movie may at times be tough to follow. The pace?is frequently?slow, and the backstory and character development could be more detailed. But theater lovers new and old will appreciate?this take on the popular musical --?and considering that it's been many years since Cats closed on Broadway, the?movie?is a great way to introduce a new generation to Eliot and Webber's work.?The old-world feel, dimly lit set design, and rustic vibe are refreshing. Some of the CGI affects can feel?unrealistic, but the beautiful vocals, the synchronized dance sequences, and the story's touching messages help make up for that. The soundtrack is very appropriate, soft and beautiful. But how's the cast? Well, Hudson, Hayward, and Jason Derulo are definite standouts in their roles. As Rum Tum Tugger, Derulo?is lively and entertaining, a scene stealer. As Grizabella, Hudson demonstrates great emotional range and gets to show off?her stellar vocals.?Hayward has a meek?innocence as Victoria that lends itself to great vulnerability and transparency on-screen; she's lovely to watch.?As Macavity, Idris Elba is a stretch, but his ability to take on his character's?cynicism and dark nature shows his range. James Corden as Bustopher Jones is entertaining to say the least, and Taylor Swift as Bombularina is fun, seductive, and naughty --?her take?on?the character just works. Watching Rebel Wilson commit to playing?Jennyanydots is lots of fun, and veteran actress Dench is quite fitting as the wise sage?Old Deuteronomy. The dance choreography, paired with the songs, helps the entire ensemble shine. Seeing all these classically trained dancers?and singers perform offers?a positive example for kids and young adults, proving that hard work and discipline have?benefits. And the movie's positive themes -- finding the courage to let go of pain, embracing?new beginnings, and understanding that you belong -- are worth noting. It can be strange and over the top, but Cats is also unique, and there's something to be said for that.
E2 business plan.

This is the most creepiest thing I've ever seen

3f ul poncho tarp. Oh come on Lulu... Its just a Durian... Me gustaria que me Llevara A su Casa A Conocerlos.

Canada harry meghan security. Hahaha this Animal is trying to kill my Baby, hahaha it's so funny. 0:56 ?? ?? ? ???? ??. I have a funny video of a cat playing with a mouse in my channel. I SAW THIS MOVIE AS ANTI-STAR WARS CHOICE. They both came out the same day and I'm so over that corporate money making monster franchise.
I gotta admit, when I first walked in the movie and saw the beginning, I was like "oh boy, wtf did I do. and I was very confused and not understanding a thing. Mind you, I've seen, heard, knew ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about this play or the history of it by Andrew Lloyd Weber. Growing up, I was never at all exposed to broadway and theatre. Yes, I've visited NY/London but never ever been to a play (I know, sad lol. Ok, this movie was a whole ROLLER COASTER of emotions! I mean, who doesn't love cats? If you don't like/love cats, go fys. Go home and don't see this and don't continue reading. br> You really didn't have to follow along the details of the plot. I didn't get the "Jellicle" this and that at all during the movie but that's ok. I believe the film makers had that in mind. When they made this film, they were not only trying to appease the hard-core fans of this play but also expose it to a younger, unaware audience (Gen-Z's & Millenials. An audience that, were it not for the access and the relatability of the movie theater, would never had known about this world of broadway and theatre. Now, because of this film, I'm going to make it a priority to see a broadway show the next time I'm in NY/London/LA because those people really work hard in their performances and you end up appreciating their effort. This film:
  • The acting
  • The set designers
  • The costumes
  • The VFX (woohoo. li>
  • The singing
  • The choreography
They were all amazing. Bravo to you folks! I truly hope the Academy Awards nominates you and you win. As I said, you didn't have to follow along that well the story line because I didn't understand some of the lyrics of the songs but all you had to do was wait for a Cat to show up with a song that you like and YOU'RE HOOKED. Now I understand why so many famous artists and singers signed up for this film. It tells of a beautiful story that I now know the history of and WISH I had known about it before. I've asked everyone that saw Star Wars "Did the audience get up and applaud. The answer was: yeah, the nerds and the enthusiasts got up and clapped. "Did people cry and laugh in your film? Yeah, they did. Well guess what. So did the audience in Cats. There were people young and old. Grandmas and grandpas, moms and dads, and children of all ages. Everybody laughed, cried, sniffled, gasped, worried, sang and smiled. This was a wonderful film. I truly appreciate the work those people did to create this production. It was great. I'm going back to see it a 2nd time in the theater because I was invited the 1st time and I actually wan't to give my own money to support this film lol. Thank you guys.

Guys, cats are given baths because there are actually times when cats won't be able to clean themselves. Mud, vomit, and who knows what can actually make a cat VERY sick if it tried to lick it off. So what's the main solution to getting a clean cat again? You give it a bath! You don't give a damn on how much the cat doesn't like water, you gotta get that cat clean or else you're gonna have a dead kitty! Here's a question; would you rather have a dead kitty because it licked who knows what out of its fur which got it sick or would you rather have an alive, clean, and healthy cat.
