Hello! If you are reading this I am assuming you are either a new player or a returning veteran, so welcome to/back to Dragon Ball Z: DOKKAN BATTLE! Now I'm gonna guess you at least know the most basic stuff about the game so I don't think I need to supply info on tapping bubbles or Super Attacks. However this Guide does aim to teach you the basics of Dokkan, its mechanics, and what you should strive to complete. Let's begin. Part 1: Rarities and Types So someone may be asking, what is a rarity? A rarity is the icon in the upper left hand corner of a Card's full art. A rarity usually represents the power of a Card and it's importance with many Cards sticking to a certain type of Rarity. Here is every Rarity currently in Dokkan Battle: N - The Worst Rarity, useless in every way and only obtainable through Story Mode and Friend Summon (which I will get into later). R - Practically also the worst Rarity with N, completely useless, and obtained through Story Mode and Friend Summon, however R's (or Rare's) can sadly be gotten through normal Gacha Summons. SR - Here's where Units get interesting, while not nearly as impactful as they used to be, more recent SR 's can be very valuable, and of course some older one's are as well. SR s can be gotten through the 3 above listed methods for obtaining Rs though they can also be gotten through special Story or DOKKAN Events (which I again, will get into later). SSR - The most common rarity in Dokkan Battle, SSR 's can be gotten anywhere except Story Mode ironically enough. SSR s can be either just SSR s or the Awakened form of SR s. SSR s are most commonly found in Gacha Summons though, as they are guaranteed every 10 Units in a Gacha Summon. SSR 's are extremely important and are the starting point for the other 2 big rarities. UR - Basically tied with SSR since all SSR 's can become UR 's. Now there are 2 different types of UR 's, UR 's and TuR 's. UR 's are what Units can Awaken into, while TuR 's are what UR Units DOKKAN Awaken into. TuR 's are a rarity that every single DOKKAN Festival Unit and LR Unit has. UR 's can not normally be summoned, same with TuR 's though there are exceptions (ie: Friend Summon and the Hercule Statues). LR - The highest rarity in the game, LR 's once fully DOKKAN Awakened have higher Stats then most Cards, 2 Super Attacks instead of just 1, an animated Card background (or sometimes it's the card itself), and are often considered the best of the best in the game. LR 's while also not as rare as they used to be are still pretty hard to get, though like SSR 's they can be gotten through Story Events, or a special kind of Event called Prime Battle which I will again get into later. There are different kinds of LR 's, Summonable LR 's who are gotten through Banners, Prime Battle LR 's who are obtained through farming them all the way to LR status using only Drop Character Teams (Characters who can only be obtained by defeating an enemy), World Tournament LR 's which are gotten from doing well in World Tournament (further detail later), and Story Event LR 's who are similar to Prime Battle but less tedious. So now that we've gotten Rarities out of the way, what are Types? Types are probably the 2nd most prioritized component of a Unit, every Unit, even Units you can't obtain has a Type. Now some get confused but there is Types, and then there are Classes. Types are the following: AGL - Stands for Agility, a previously dead Type that has seen a huge revival lately. TEQ - Stands for Technique, a Type that has always been strong but at this point it's obscene with some of it's Units. INT - Used to easily be the strongest Type back during the 120 Meta (at least Super Class was), however hasn't really gotten a huge revival and because of that is slowly drifting off into the background. Still has some incredible Units though, like every Type. STR - Similar to AGL in how the Type has been seeing a revival, while not as huge as AGL 's it's definitely an amazing Type again and kind of always was. PHY - Probably the most consistent Type since the 120 Meta, PHY has remained consistently strong and just keeps growing stronger, but never too strong to completely dominate the meta. Now those are Types, and you can see I mentioned Classes, so what is a Class? A Class is how Dokkan identifies a Unit's allegiance with 1 Type. These are the 2 Classes in Dokkan so far: Super-Class - For good guys, heroes, jolly old fella's, well most of the time. Some of the choices are a bit vague ( STR Jiren to me is a good example since I believe he is from the point of time where he basically just starts getting antagonistic towards Goku, Vegeta, and 17) but most of the time it's correct. Extreme-Class - For the Villains, the antagonists, the not jolly old good fellows. It's hard to say which Class gets the weirder decisions but I'd say Extreme does. So you may be wondering what's the point of the Class System? Well that is for Units with certain Leader Skills or Passive Skills that support Units of that Class or even the Type that also has that Class. Which now leads into the 2nd Part of this guide. Part 2: Leader Skills and Categories Leader Skills are easily the most important thing in this game, Leader Skills provide a large boost for all 6 of the Units you can bring with you and create the Team Structure the Game is known for. So, what is a Leader Skill? A Leader Skill can be divided into different Types but these I'd say are the most common types of Leader Skills: Category Leaders - The most common, a Unit who leads a thing called a Category which will be explained soon. Dual Category Leaders - Units who lead 2 Categories instead of just 1. Type Leaders - Units who boost a Type, the most powerful and most popular usually restrict it to a certain Class (ie: Super Class TEQ or Extreme Class INT Class Leaders - Units who boost the Extreme or Super Class, usually don’t go too high as if there was a 150% Lead for Super or Extreme that’d make a lot of things eless. Now, what's a Category? Considering Categories are the meta, and have been the meta for more then 2 years now. Categories are a specific well Category that Units fit into. For example a SSJ Goku Card would fit on the Goku's Family and Super Saiyan Category but if he has Kamehameha in his Super Attack name then he would also fit on the Kamehameha Category. Some Category decisions ionable, but most can make sense. Not all, but most. Now here I am going to list every single available Category in the game and their best Leader. NOTE: This will be listing Categories and Leaders from the Japanese Version of Dokkan Battle. Eagerly waiting for your observation on attempt and conspiracy. This post is not about questioning transgenderism. We know that intersex people exist and for the purposes of the post here, we understand that some people consider themselves to be transgender and wish to transition. And FOR YEARS the transgender community has insisted that people have "dysphoria" and the TREATMENT for it is transition. But things are changing now, and maybe you aren't even aware of the changes. This post is to inform you and to prepare you as we go into a future where gender and politics are de facto intertwined. Recently Joe Biden said that transgender rights are the big civil rights struggle of our time. Warren said that she will vet her Education Secretary by having a transgender youth speak to them and approve them. The issue of transitioning children has been in the news and recently: A pedophile was released from prison because since "he" transitioned to "she" the judge argues that she is no longer a threat. Which, on its actually OFFEND the transgender community because they insist that pedophilia has no place in their community and that pedophilia is not an orientation or an attribute of the LGBTQ+ community. So no matter WHAT gender that offender is, they should NOT be released from prison simply because they are "transitioning. " It's not a "get out of jail free" card. How did we get here? I think that there are three important events that brought the issue of transgender politics into the public consciousness. If you are like me, you probably stood in line at the grocery store and saw the headlines on the National Enquirer saying things like, "Revealed: Bruce Jenner wants to be a woman! " And you rolled your eyes and thought, "Come 's really a stretch. " And then it happened. Bruce transitioned to Caitlyn and the world was in love with it. In fact, she was now MORE of a woman than other women. Woman of the year! And none of us really have a problem with Jenner. Seemed kind of like the sanest one on "Keeping up with the Kardashians", in fact. Then, there was a reality show, "I am Cait. " It didn't last long, but I watched cause it contained things that were very educational about the transgender community and it contained things that were TELLING about the people at the top of the movement. See, they hooked Caitlyn up with transgender activists and authors and sent her roaming around with them. The series didn't last long and in one of the final episodes, I think I saw something that told me why. See, Jenner's a patriot. A capitalist. Loves the Constitution and America and had voted Republican. The transgender activists on the show absolutely couldn't handle that. They were phlegm-spittling at Caitlyn because her gender transition wasn't necessarily a political one. Her transition from male to female didn't transition her into a leftist, America-hating shrew and it caused REAL conflict. This told me that the "acceptance and tolerance" that the community constantly talks about DOES NOT include tolerating conservatives. 2) Obama's Title IX. Suddenly there's a MtF transgender teen with a penis in the locker room after PE with your teenage girl. This caused problems... because when did we even have a national discussion about doing this? We didn't. More on THIS later. Transgender students were offered the opportunity to have their own bathrooms or changing areas, but this compromise was rejected as "separate but equal" and as such, NOT acceptable! So the modesty and privacy of SOME students was cast aside in order to accommodate trans kids. And it has resulted in some uncomfortable situations. But @#%@ your modesty, bigot. In conversing with activists about this situation, I have often seen them resort to, "Americans are so uptight about nudity anyway. What's the big deal. It's just a naked over it. " That's not an acceptable argument. People have a right to their modesty and privacy especially in situations like locker rooms after PE where they are required to shower and change. 3) The North Carolina Bathroom Bill. Oh, how they howled. "We're gonna boycott the state! They are just trying to be mean to transgender people for no reason! " Well, what the media didn't tell you was that the bathroom bill was a RESPONSE to an intolerable situation. The city of Charlotte, NC passed an ordinance. This ordinance said that ANYONE based on "gender expression" was allowed to use whatever private area they wanted. This applied not only to public services but to private businesses. The ordinance initially said that it would NOT apply to places like "the locker room at the Y" that were obviously spaces where gender segregation was necessary to respect privacy, but that language was struck from the bill. This meant that if you operated "Salon Spa King".. would have to allow a male presenting as male to use the women's locker room where you have showers, whirlpools and a sauna and changing area for women. Obviously, there was outrage. Those are the three things that IMO, really brought "transgender politics" to the fore. But now it's important to note that we are being prevented from talking about this. The community claims to want a too many in the community actually employ tactics to STOP any discussion and disagreement with their agenda. Here's how they do it: So you see the Charlotte ordinance and you say, "I believe that this is foolhardy and it endangers people's privacy because bad actors will take advantage of it in order to creep on women and girls and maybe even men in states of undress. " That's a reasonable statement, right? Well, it will be met with cries of: "You are calling transgender people perverts and that's very offensive, bigot! " But you did no such thing. You said that bad actors will take advantage of it. And we know that they will. The transgender community may deny it, but I have an internet full of indications that perverts look for opportunities to get their jollies and when you say that anyone can walk into the locker room at the Y before girls' swim class, perverts are going to do just that. We all know it. We aren't saying, "Trans people are perverts".. are saying, "There is zero reason to change the rules and allow something like that to happen. " I know that you want " your rights " but if your "rights" remove the rights of others, you are doing something wrong. Others do not lose their right to privacy simply because you think allowing people to have gender-segregated places where they disrobe is an antiquated idea that interferes with your rights as a "gender fluid" person. Have some common sense and realize that what you "want" is something that comes with too much potential for abuse and so it's a bad idea and stop screaming, "BIGOT! " 2) The lexicon: Policing free speech. It seems to me that in the transgender community the acceptable language is constantly evolving and being developed. The average person has no idea how folks in the transgender community speak with each other. You don't know what a TERF is. You don't know what a "truscum" is. You don't pepper your conversation with AMAB and AFAB. You just try to speak. You shouldn't be required to master a dictionary of trans-acceptable terms in order to try to convey your thoughts. But it's remarkably easy to try to seek conversation with someone in the trans community and unintentionally offend them so much that they are ready to picket your business, call your employer and do a write up on you in "Frock Magazine. " So... they claim to want a the moment you seek one and you are discussing a point and you innocently say, "So if a woman who was born a man decides... " You will be met with, "STOP right there and have a seat BIGOT! He wasn't born a was ALWAYS a woman... if you cannot speak without being so horribly offensive then just be quiet and listen to.... blah blah blah blah blah... " So, your right to speak has been removed and the other party has taken offense. You have been SILENCED and told to assimilate or else. Ergo, you can't even attempt to understand because you don't know the "translanguage" and you have unintentionally committed a the cardinal sin of saying something that someone took offense to, even if you did not intend to offend. 3) (And this is the BIG ONE) Emotional blackmail and emotional manipulation. The suicide rate in the trans community is high. It's remarkably high and apparently gender dysphoria is comorbid with other mental illnesses. No one wants anyone to die. No one wants anyone to kill themselves. Disagreeing with the trans community regarding desires and political goals they have is NOT incitement to suicide. I have personally had this argument presented to me for simply saying some of the things I said prior in this post that: "What you are doing is harmful because when you disagree with us like this, we are killing ourselves. You are contributing to the high rates of suicide in the trans community! " No. Just no. That's emotional blackmail. That's no different from a man who beats his wife and then says, "Baby you can't leave me... if you leave me, I'll kill myself. " We have the right to disagree with things without being accused of inciting people to suicide. Further, the trans community really hates TERFS. A TERF is a "trans exclusionary radical feminist". The operative thing to remember is that they are "radical feminists". They are mostly lesbians, but they have a very low regard for men in general. You might even say that they hate men. They refuse to recognize male to female transgender folks as women. And some of these MtF transgender people describe themselves as gay. And maybe they do not wish to have "bottom surgery" and remove their penises. Hello! If you are reading this I am assuming you are either a new player or a returning veteran, so welcome to/back to Dragon Ball Z: DOKKAN BATTLE! Now I'm gonna guess you at least know the most basic stuff about the game so I don't think I need to supply info on tapping bubbles or Super Attacks. However this Guide does aim to teach you the basics of Dokkan, its mechanics, and what you should strive to complete. Let's begin. Part 1: Rarities and Types So someone may be asking, what is a rarity? A rarity is the icon in the upper left hand corner of a Card's full art. A rarity usually represents the power of a Card and it's importance with many Cards sticking to a certain type of Rarity. Here is every Rarity currently in Dokkan Battle: N - The Worst Rarity, useless in every way and only obtainable through Story Mode and Friend Summon (which I will get into later). R - Practically also the worst Rarity with N, completely useless, and obtained through Story Mode and Friend Summon, however R's (or Rare's) can sadly be gotten through normal Gacha Summons. SR - Here's where Units get interesting, while not nearly as impactful as they used to be, more recent SR 's can be very valuable, and of course some older one's are as well. SR s can be gotten through the 3 above listed methods for obtaining Rs though they can also be gotten through special Story or DOKKAN Events (which I again, will get into later). SSR - The most common rarity in Dokkan Battle, SSR 's can be gotten anywhere except Story Mode ironically enough. SSR s can be either just SSR s or the Awakened form of SR s. SSR s are most commonly found in Gacha Summons though, as they are guaranteed every 10 Units in a Gacha Summon. SSR 's are extremely important and are the starting point for the other 2 big rarities. UR - Basically tied with SSR since all SSR 's can become UR 's. Now there are 2 different types of UR 's, UR 's and TuR 's. UR 's are what Units can Awaken into, while TuR 's are what UR Units DOKKAN Awaken into. TuR 's are a rarity that every single DOKKAN Festival Unit and LR Unit has. UR 's can not normally be summoned, same with TuR 's though there are exceptions (ie: Friend Summon and the Hercule Statues). LR - The highest rarity in the game, LR 's once fully DOKKAN Awakened have higher Stats then most Cards, 2 Super Attacks instead of just 1, an animated Card background (or sometimes it's the card itself), and are often considered the best of the best in the game. LR 's while also not as rare as they used to be are still pretty hard to get, though like SSR 's they can be gotten through Story Events, or a special kind of Event called Prime Battle which I will again get into later. There are different kinds of LR 's, Summonable LR 's who are gotten through Banners, Prime Battle LR 's who are obtained through farming them all the way to LR status using only Drop Character Teams (Characters who can only be obtained by defeating an enemy), World Tournament LR 's which are gotten from doing well in World Tournament (further detail later), and Story Event LR 's who are similar to Prime Battle but less tedious. So now that we've gotten Rarities out of the way, what are Types? Types are probably the 2nd most prioritized component of a Unit, every Unit, even Units you can't obtain has a Type. Now some get confused but there is Types, and then there are Classes. Types are the following: AGL - Stands for Agility, a previously dead Type that has seen a huge revival lately. TEQ - Stands for Technique, a Type that has always been strong but at this point it's obscene with some of it's Units. INT - Used to easily be the strongest Type back during the 120 Meta (at least Super Class was), however hasn't really gotten a huge revival and because of that is slowly drifting off into the background. Still has some incredible Units though, like every Type. STR - Similar to AGL in how the Type has been seeing a revival, while not as huge as AGL 's it's definitely an amazing Type again and kind of always was. PHY - Probably the most consistent Type since the 120 Meta, PHY has remained consistently strong and just keeps growing stronger, but never too strong to completely dominate the meta. Now those are Types, and you can see I mentioned Classes, so what is a Class? A Class is how Dokkan identifies a Unit's allegiance with 1 Type. These are the 2 Classes in Dokkan so far: Super-Class - For good guys, heroes, jolly old fella's, well most of the time. Some of the choices are a bit vague ( STR Jiren to me is a good example since I believe he is from the point of time where he basically just starts getting antagonistic towards Goku, Vegeta, and 17) but most of the time it's correct. Extreme-Class - For the Villains, the antagonists, the not jolly old good fellows. It's hard to say which Class gets the weirder decisions but I'd say Extreme does. So you may be wondering what's the point of the Class System? Well that is for Units with certain Leader Skills or Passive Skills that support Units of that Class or even the Type that also has that Class. Which now leads into the 2nd Part of this guide. Part 2: Leader Skills and Categories Leader Skills are easily the most important thing in this game, Leader Skills provide a large boost for all 6 of the Units you can bring with you and create the Team Structure the Game is known for. So, what is a Leader Skill? A Leader Skill can be divided into different Types but these I'd say are the most common types of Leader Skills: Category Leaders - The most common, a Unit who leads a thing called a Category which will be explained soon. Dual Category Leaders - Units who lead 2 Categories instead of just 1. Type Leaders - Units who boost a Type, the most powerful and most popular usually restrict it to a certain Class (ie: Super Class TEQ or Extreme Class INT Class Leaders - Units who boost the Extreme or Super Class, usually don’t go too high as if there was a 150% Lead for Super or Extreme that’d make a lot of things eless. Now, what's a Category? Considering Categories are the meta, and have been the meta for more then 2 years now. Categories are a specific well Category that Units fit into. For example a SSJ Goku Card would fit on the Goku's Family and Super Saiyan Category but if he has Kamehameha in his Super Attack name then he would also fit on the Kamehameha Category. Some Category decisions ionable, but most can make sense. Not all, but most. Now here I am going to list every single available Category in the game and their best Leader. Eagerly waiting for your observation on attempt and conspiracy. This post is not about questioning transgenderism. We know that intersex people exist and for the purposes of the post here, we understand that some people consider themselves to be transgender and wish to transition. And FOR YEARS the transgender community has insisted that people have "dysphoria" and the TREATMENT for it is transition. But things are changing now, and maybe you aren't even aware of the changes. This post is to inform you and to prepare you as we go into a future where gender and politics are de facto intertwined. Recently Joe Biden said that transgender rights are the big civil rights struggle of our time. Warren said that she will vet her Education Secretary by having a transgender youth speak to them and approve them. The issue of transitioning children has been in the news and recently: A pedophile was released from prison because since "he" transitioned to "she" the judge argues that she is no longer a threat. Which, on its actually OFFEND the transgender community because they insist that pedophilia has no place in their community and that pedophilia is not an orientation or an attribute of the LGBTQ+ community. So no matter WHAT gender that offender is, they should NOT be released from prison simply because they are "transitioning. " It's not a "get out of jail free" card. How did we get here? I think that there are three important events that brought the issue of transgender politics into the public consciousness. If you are like me, you probably stood in line at the grocery store and saw the headlines on the National Enquirer saying things like, "Revealed: Bruce Jenner wants to be a woman! " And you rolled your eyes and thought, "Come 's really a stretch. " And then it happened. Bruce transitioned to Caitlyn and the world was in love with it. In fact, she was now MORE of a woman than other women. Woman of the year! And none of us really have a problem with Jenner. Seemed kind of like the sanest one on "Keeping up with the Kardashians", in fact. Then, there was a reality show, "I am Cait. " It didn't last long, but I watched cause it contained things that were very educational about the transgender community and it contained things that were TELLING about the people at the top of the movement. See, they hooked Caitlyn up with transgender activists and authors and sent her roaming around with them. The series didn't last long and in one of the final episodes, I think I saw something that told me why. See, Jenner's a patriot. A capitalist. Loves the Constitution and America and had voted Republican. The transgender activists on the show absolutely couldn't handle that. They were phlegm-spittling at Caitlyn because her gender transition wasn't necessarily a political one. Her transition from male to female didn't transition her into a leftist, America-hating shrew and it caused REAL conflict. This told me that the "acceptance and tolerance" that the community constantly talks about DOES NOT include tolerating conservatives. 2) Obama's Title IX. Suddenly there's a MtF transgender teen with a penis in the locker room after PE with your teenage girl. This caused problems... because when did we even have a national discussion about doing this? We didn't. More on THIS later. Transgender students were offered the opportunity to have their own bathrooms or changing areas, but this compromise was rejected as "separate but equal" and as such, NOT acceptable! So the modesty and privacy of SOME students was cast aside in order to accommodate trans kids. And it has resulted in some uncomfortable situations. But @#%@ your modesty, bigot. In conversing with activists about this situation, I have often seen them resort to, "Americans are so uptight about nudity anyway. What's the big deal. It's just a naked over it. " That's not an acceptable argument. People have a right to their modesty and privacy especially in situations like locker rooms after PE where they are required to shower and change. 3) The North Carolina Bathroom Bill. Oh, how they howled. "We're gonna boycott the state! They are just trying to be mean to transgender people for no reason! " Well, what the media didn't tell you was that the bathroom bill was a RESPONSE to an intolerable situation. The city of Charlotte, NC passed an ordinance. This ordinance said that ANYONE based on "gender expression" was allowed to use whatever private area they wanted. This applied not only to public services but to private businesses. The ordinance initially said that it would NOT apply to places like "the locker room at the Y" that were obviously spaces where gender segregation was necessary to respect privacy, but that language was struck from the bill. This meant that if you operated "Salon Spa King".. would have to allow a male presenting as male to use the women's locker room where you have showers, whirlpools and a sauna and changing area for women. Obviously, there was outrage. Those are the three things that IMO, really brought "transgender politics" to the fore. But now it's important to note that we are being prevented from talking about this. The community claims to want a too many in the community actually employ tactics to STOP any discussion and disagreement with their agenda. Here's how they do it: So you see the Charlotte ordinance and you say, "I believe that this is foolhardy and it endangers people's privacy because bad actors will take advantage of it in order to creep on women and girls and maybe even men in states of undress. " That's a reasonable statement, right? Well, it will be met with cries of: "You are calling transgender people perverts and that's very offensive, bigot! " But you did no such thing. You said that bad actors will take advantage of it. And we know that they will. The transgender community may deny it, but I have an internet full of indications that perverts look for opportunities to get their jollies and when you say that anyone can walk into the locker room at the Y before girls' swim class, perverts are going to do just that. We all know it. We aren't saying, "Trans people are perverts".. are saying, "There is zero reason to change the rules and allow something like that to happen. " I know that you want " your rights " but if your "rights" remove the rights of others, you are doing something wrong. Others do not lose their right to privacy simply because you think allowing people to have gender-segregated places where they disrobe is an antiquated idea that interferes with your rights as a "gender fluid" person. Have some common sense and realize that what you "want" is something that comes with too much potential for abuse and so it's a bad idea and stop screaming, "BIGOT! " 2) The lexicon: Policing free speech. It seems to me that in the transgender community the acceptable language is constantly evolving and being developed. The average person has no idea how folks in the transgender community speak with each other. You don't know what a TERF is. You don't know what a "truscum" is. You don't pepper your conversation with AMAB and AFAB. You just try to speak. You shouldn't be required to master a dictionary of trans-acceptable terms in order to try to convey your thoughts. But it's remarkably easy to try to seek conversation with someone in the trans community and unintentionally offend them so much that they are ready to picket your business, call your employer and do a write up on you in "Frock Magazine. " So... they claim to want a the moment you seek one and you are discussing a point and you innocently say, "So if a woman who was born a man decides... " You will be met with, "STOP right there and have a seat BIGOT! He wasn't born a was ALWAYS a woman... if you cannot speak without being so horribly offensive then just be quiet and listen to.... blah blah blah blah blah... " So, your right to speak has been removed and the other party has taken offense. You have been SILENCED and told to assimilate or else. Ergo, you can't even attempt to understand because you don't know the "translanguage" and you have unintentionally committed a the cardinal sin of saying something that someone took offense to, even if you did not intend to offend. 3) (And this is the BIG ONE) Emotional blackmail and emotional manipulation. The suicide rate in the trans community is high. It's remarkably high and apparently gender dysphoria is comorbid with other mental illnesses. No one wants anyone to die. No one wants anyone to kill themselves. Disagreeing with the trans community regarding desires and political goals they have is NOT incitement to suicide. I have personally had this argument presented to me for simply saying some of the things I said prior in this post that: "What you are doing is harmful because when you disagree with us like this, we are killing ourselves. You are contributing to the high rates of suicide in the trans community! " No. Just no. That's emotional blackmail. That's no different from a man who beats his wife and then says, "Baby you can't leave me... if you leave me, I'll kill myself. " We have the right to disagree with things without being accused of inciting people to suicide. Further, the trans community really hates TERFS. A TERF is a "trans exclusionary radical feminist". The operative thing to remember is that they are "radical feminists". They are mostly lesbians, but they have a very low regard for men in general. You might even say that they hate men. It shows that a particularly nasty poster of Rabin (dressing him in an SS uniform) was distributed by agent provocateur Avishai Raviv and wasn't really a poster at all but a handbill; and it shows that a coffin carried in an anti-Oslo demonstration was not a symbol threatening Rabin with death but a symbol lamenting the supposed death of Zionism. Where the depiction does go overboard, I'd say, is in emphasizing the tacit support by the religious establishment for an attack on Rabin. Bar-Ilan University, which has a Jewish religious atmosphere but also has secular Jewish students and even Arab students, is portrayed as entirely religious and plastered with anti-Rabin posters on every wall. Rabbis are shown one after another stopping short of disapproval with respect to Amir's intention to kill Rabin.

How can a writer create a story in which traditionally feminine traits (empathy, vulnerability, being emotional) can be seen as strong? Marling herself doesn't know. In all of the insights and valid points and criticisms, this is something she doesn't have an answer for, and it clearly frustrates her. She chews on this idea a little bit after this section, saying, But even in the silence I dream of answers. I imagine new structures and mythologies born from the choreography of female bodies, non-gendered bodies, bodies of color, disabled bodies. I imagine excavating my own desires, wants and needs, which I have buried so deeply to meet the desires, wants and needs of men around me that I’m not yet sure how my own desire would power the protagonist of a narrative. These are not yet solutions. But they are places to dig. Which is flowery malarkey ( pardon the Biden-ism). It isn't an answer, but I think she's close. She's laid out the schematics of an answer, but she still doesn't have the full picture. She pictures new story structures from female bodies, non-gendered bodies, etc., but she doesn't say what those structures actually look like or how they function narrative-wise. Maybe she doesn't know. So that's why I'm asking the most credible and approachable source I can think of: Reddit! If you understand what she's talking about, help me out, please. How can one adjust story structure to better accommodate female characters?
