The most common point I got to know from all the reviews was- Its better than Bad Boys 2 in almost all aspects. And also they have teased part 4. It just seems so out of place when the main theme is emancipation from men. lol Terminator was probably the only trailer that conveyed a story beyond It's a womans world now, deal with it Brand of entertainment that Kathleen Kennedy is pushing across Disney. Mulan was especially redundant, all while trying to empower the image of women they still push misogynistic themes of the 20th century. Hollywood isn't doing women and girls any favours with this fake empowerment in entertainment. Take a note from Ridley Scott and just make the women commit to hard decisions and show some personal growth in the movie. This notion that every woman in starring roles has to have some secret source of power is hilarious and the movies with both male and female protagonists are going to blow those numpty tropes out of the water. Harrison Ford didn't make Indiana Jones special, Indy was special for the things he did, his moral standing, and just being a good guy looking out for others. You don't need to make women into feminine versions of guys, just write them doing things women would do naturally and you'll find many men and women jumping on the bandwagon for characteristically strong protagonists of any sexual orientation. Male,Female, Gender fluid can all prove strong with the right writers, though I'm starting to notice Hollywood operating like a family now. Same actors get all the roles, same directors get green-lit to make vapid movies with 100 million CGI budgets,same producers not able to write realistic characters. End Rant.
