What would be the age of Judy's character? 17? I ask since Garland at 21 or 22 years old thought that part was way too juvenile for her. @ducky101momo I love this song too. I wish they sung it from beginning to ending but oh well i'm just glad the song was somewhere in the movie.

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "The Trolley Song" as part of the magnificent Ralph Blane-Hugh Martin song score, O'Brien, who plays "Tootie" Smith won a "Special Juvinelle Oscar" for her charming scene-stealing performance in this timeless classic. Screenplay by Irving Breecher and Fred F. Finklehoffe. Later became a Broadway musical.
