I really enjoyed the film myself and was happy to find this being the case since I really didn't like Star Wars: Last Of The Jedi all that much. Some surprises in this one for sure, and a couple of turns that I was thinking were going to go elsewhere but didn't. Overall, I did rank with a two horns up \m. I was 7 yrs old when Star Wars hit me like a bag of rocks in the face! Before that, I literally watched crap like cowboy movies and Spiderman cartoons! This saga opened up my world man. Whether people don't like these movies or whether they do, I don't give a shit! I just am very thankful and appreciative that 40+ years later, they are still being made. What an awesome feeling that this story has stood the test of time so amazingly well. No other story that has been put onto the big screen has lasted and been as relevant as this. Thank you Lucas.

I happily disagree. Ive already watched the movie and it was soooooo cool. Jotarto D-O. If you are like me, loving the original trilogy, feeling indifferent about the prequels, bored by A New Hop. sorry, The Force Awakens and can't even remember what The Last Jedi was all about, you are in for a treat with The Rise of Skywalker. Everything just works! The homages, the reveals, the humor, the chemistry between characters, but most importantly the story, which feels much more organic and intense than any of the previeous movies. Like the original trilogy it has that certain magic to it that is hard to describe, but which will suck you into the universe, the story and its characters. The visuals are stunning and memorable, the action is perfectly dosed - sometimes taking a backseat to the character development - and the overall story is both interesting, mysterious and gives us the answers we want, and those that will surprise us. The movie is perfectly paced. Never a boring minute. A perfect ending to a flawed third trilogy.
The Best Superhero Sequel of 2018. Mandalorian, it's a better starwars movie than the last 3 or 4 actual starwars movies. Endgame was the finale of the first MCU saga, GoT had its finale last Sunday, and now this December Star Wars comes to an end. Oh dear God, it is the Nerd Apocalypse.
