I could have sworn we had, like, ten dudes here two hours ago! Did they get bored and just go home. Nice sound production (the harp was right in front of the listener, for example) and good camera editing - giving us many of the best angles to view a sequence from; on the ballet proper I was observing how all the moves and leaps were basically meaningless, and I wondered why (and I wonder if it is still that way. and I concluded a few things - dance may have still have been in early development then (same goes for art in general) hence the lack of message, other than a depiction of general happiness and content, therefore the future of dance would imbue more meaning into moves and leaps; another related conclusion is that the moves and leaps were not heart-driven - and that is a choreographic issue - perhaps the answer is in letting the dancers choose their moves in an improvisatory manner (though chaos would be an issue. the reasoning being that they do whatever moves them the most in regards to a scene, thereby attaining both maximum impact and meaning...
