Originally set to premiere on Hallmark Channel on June 29 as part of the June Weddings event, the movie was first pushed to July 1 before ultimately getting delayed to August and moved over to the network’s online streaming service. Tomorrow (Aug. 11), Hallmarkies will finally get to see two-time Tony nominee Laura Osnes and Scott Michael Foster (“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, ” “Greek”) make their Hallmark debuts when the movie hits HMN. Not only is this a first for the actors, but it’s also a first for Hallmark, as it’s Hallmark Movies Now’s first original premiere. Like most streaming services, this one requires viewers to have a paid subscription in order to watch its content, but those who don’t already have a membership and were looking forward to originally watching the movie for free on Hallmark Channel shouldn’t worry because there’s still a way to see the movie without handing over any money. The most interesting thing for me is that Harry Caul is looked over a curtain. Because of this technique, we can feel his loneliness and suspicion. He does a wiretapping and he does not show his real feelings. The technique makes us think of his feelings implicitly. In addition, although he does a wiretapping, he is picked up calls by someone too. He believes only what he looks but it is not enough. There are many sides in the world but most people do not notice it. This problem is involved with the Watergate. Before it happened, people did not think that someone listen what they said secretly. This film makes them have wariness about wiretapping.
