abstract=Spenser (Mark Wahlberg) - an ex-cop better known for making trouble than solving it - just got out of prison and is leaving Boston for good. The player for movie Spenser: Confidencial there are three types available good HD quality 360,480,720 - you can choose any of them. Enjoyable movie, but not Spenser. Used the character names only. Characters were good, story is enjoyable, but not Spenser. Anyone looking for true Spenser will be disappointed. Character backgrounds are wrong, totally lacking in the true Parker/Spenser sharp repartee and dialogue. Call it Jones, call it Smith, just don't call it Spenser. It's not an action packed flick like 6 Underground, but if you don't mind a little bit of the "same old, same old" mystery movies, you'll like this. The movie is pretty well made, and has Dolby Atmos sound, making it a little better than most Netflix content (like Ozark, which is very disappointingly still only in Dolby 5.1. Everyone did a great job acting, also. Alan Arkin was the icing on the cake, and E. S. was a great fit too, although I feel they should've limited the comedy just a tad at the truck scene (but I'm a tough crowd, so don't let these things turn you off. If Netflix can keep movies like this coming each month, they should have no problem maintaining its subscriber base (I'll keep mine, anyway, but without a new movie each month, I really don't feel much need to keep it every month and might just subscribe every 3-6 months or so. This movie pretty much makes the monthly Netflix fee worth it, in other words, and is one of the few things I'll actually watch on it this month besides Ozark (and maybe that Tiger reality show. Taco stand fight, truck scene at the end, and foot bath scene were all pretty memorable, although not too unique (I've seen scene like it before. The people giving this movie bad reviews are obviously the type of people who hate everything and are miserable in their daily life. It's a Netflix movie starring Mark Wahlberg, directed by Peter Berg what were you possibly expecting.
