I know they took Vinod Khanna's brother as him, but Dimple Kapadia is not credited in the cast. level 2 I also noticed that, and was curious why she is not credited in the cast. level 1 Kichhaa!! Man that guy played a great Villian. Movie was ok but not better than first Dabangg. The film wasnt as bad as its portraying out to be.. I strongly agree with cuttin some songs of the film. Some of the songs just didnt fit into the narration at all! I find Salman Khan is really challenging his audience to push every boundary to make his movies look stupid! WHY DID YOU GIVE OUT ALL THE BEST DIALOGUES OF THE MOVIE IN THE BEGGINING CREDITS? There were some decent dialogues and it killed the momentum of the actual scene because you've already heard the dialogues in the beginning of the movie. Salman acted really well in some scenes and really bad in is no consistency in his acting. Seems like Bhai shoots scenes depending on how hungover he is... I am upset for spendin so much money to get an average film. This could have been a great film with 20 to 25 mins of editin. Salman Khan: please make movies for mass and class like you said in only for Mass. level 2 WHY DID YOU GIVE OUT ALL THE BEST DIALOGUES OF THE MOVIE IN THE BEGGINING CREDITS? The dialogues in the beginning were such a weird touch. The beginning credits could've gotten a far better placement during the first song. level 1 Just saw Dabangg 3 and I am already forgetting what was in the film, it is that bad. One of the worst movies I have seen in theaters. The first half is awful. There are few jokes, which writer would have written to make people laugh but not a single person in the theater laughed. Scenes were dragged for no reason but to stretch the film. Salman looked constipated throughout the film. He is shown as 25 years old and I don't know how can anyone be convinced with that. The story is weak and forgettable. Went with 2 friends and none of us liked the film. Salman needs to choose better script or I am not watching any of his film again. What a waste of Saturday. level 2 Didn’t salman say that he wrote the script. level 1 Way way way too many songs. Climax was okay. This movie confirms that Salman Khan can never match the machoness of Ajay Devgan though. Ajay Devgan strutting towards Shikre in Singham for 10 seconds and smacking him on the head was better than the whole climax in Dabangg 3. Salman Khan can't own the room, especially when he has dialogue level 1 I had a good time at the cinema. This is the first Dabangg film I have ever seen. As a popcorn action entertainer it worked for me. Normally I find Salman Khan films to be unbearable. The comedy was a cringefest though. Due to the gory violence, this is the first film from the Dabangg franchise which received a 16+ rating in my country. I liked that it had some real thrills and I think writing an origin story was a smart idea. Also, why does every Salman Khan film have this gay porn climax where he chokes his enemy to death while he is shirtless? I'd give it a 5/10. ? level 2 When people try to be too masculine, they end up like that. I haven’t seen a lot of the obvious shit movies (pagalpanti, body, etc) but I feel like this is the worst movie of 2019 just because how disappointing it is. I was looking forward to this one because dabangg is still one of the best entertainers we have and is very enjoyable even today. Dabangg 2 just does the same thing again but is atleast fast paced and a good runtime so it doesn’t suck but this one was just something else. I really like Prabhudeva but for fucksakes please stop directing, you can’t, you just can’t. This film feels like a parody of dabangg and just adds Easter eggs to connect it to the franchise but they are just silly and boring. I was getting frustrated with how are people laughing at some of the jokes because either they were cringe and way over the top or very problematic. The biggest laugh was for a very homophobic scene and then don’t get me started how creepy Sonakshi being high and Salman doing the things he was (it doesn’t matter if she’s his wife in the film, that’s why it’s so wrong because it sends the msg that it’s okay because it’s ur wife whereas it’s wrong no matter what) and Prabhu devas sexual innuendos with a 20 year old warina Husain was even more creepy. The plot is boring, slow and so damn predictable. I hate how every time I go in hoping that there is a chance that this one will work and I don’t even go in with the mindset to give me an amazing film, just give me an entertaining fun movie and I’ll be happy, that’s what I went for and the movie can’t even be what it says out to be. Anyways bhai fans will watch it and enjoy it because there money is there money none of our money. And I guess chutiyas like them deserve chutiya movies like these. level 1 2/5 This is a movie made by Bhai for Bhai followers. I went in wanting decent action scenes (basically the only reason I watched it) and I'm glad they made it a little more brutal than the previous entries in the series. That being said there were way too many songs. At least two could be cut out. The opening sequence is kind of drawn out. The section after the opening of the film and before the intermission was too slow for my taste and probably many others as well based on what I've read. The second half is far better and felt much more like an actual Dabangg movie. If the whole movie had the same tone as the last 30 minutes, it could have been a 4 star masala film. The humor is hit and miss. Out of the 6 songs I only truly enjoyed 3. Salman seemed disinterested in the first half of the movie acting wise but in the second half he seemed to be back in form. The movie unfortunately created a lot of consistency issues with previously established relationships such as the one between Chulbul and his father. Overall I'm glad they are cutting down the songs and the run time it will surely help. Unfortunately, compared to the pure Masala explosion that was the first Dabangg movie, this one falls short, perhaps even a little short of Dabangg 2 in my opinion. Edit: After rewatching Dabangg (2010) I changed the score for Dabangg 3 from 2. 5 to 2. Damn this franchise has fallen. (it will still be) yes i agree its dated, senseless blah blah but remember its a salman film it delivers what it promises out an out entertainment (for fans strictly. ) as usual bhai ghost directed the movie because major plot points were edited and all bhai antics inserted. which is enjoyable for fans like me but neutral audience may not like it. editing is very poor since the editor was told to cut the movie the way salman wanted and the final product is average. with the current product lifetime seems 220-230. if they had trimmed the movie by 15 mins and minus 2 songs it would have been 250 plus domestically.
