I haven't seen it in years! It won some nice student awards and then helped launch a robust commercial directing career ! So fun to watch it again as a part of me is in this film. Antonio took the school by storm. So dynamic and so real. May his energy and spirit come through in each of us. Soon as I saw his death year I knew it was probably AIDs. They were dropping like flies late 80s to late 90s.

Sonia Lopez? your uncle came to my high school, Art and Design in the early 70'sand inspired? everyone that day. he was the star and we were his fans, I thank him to this day, I became a fashion illustrator and now a Visual Artist, and I teach art to kids in after school programs in NYC. ? Thank you Mr Lopez. Antonio was an inspired genius and a beautiful human being. He remains in my heart forever. My uncle antonio i miss you. He was such a master at his art. his book 1000 and one arabian nights is pure genius. just ordered this wait to go through it. thank you. This guy was one of the many artistic influences for Hirohiko Araki and I can see why. LOVED IT.

And how damn lucky were those students to have a wrkshop w/him. I have been obsessed w/him sense high school, and have mimicked his style through college. I now teach fashion illustration at a local state university. And I am consumed w/what my legacy will be. I need to return to my interpretive sexual style I've gotten far to 'instructive.
