???????????????. Don't rent this movie, didn't work properly, only play 1:20 and the movie last 1:43. I can't wait until he does everything wrong with Cats. Its a ninja turtle on crack. Foundflix: uploads 2 ending explained in one week. Me: Wait. That's illegal. I was so looking forward to seeing this remakes or reboot. I would consider this movie to be a Drama and not a Horror movie. The acting wasn't bad. But, the storyline and script was awful. The part when someone falls and splats is ridiculous. It was like someone dropped a water balloon. Also, the lighting in the film was horrendous. Anytime it was dark or mostly dark, I couldn't see a thing. You can hear the girl-thing make the signature noise but couldn't see a damn thing. I was really hopeful when I heard that Cho was in it. Oh well. Stick with the original. At least you can see what's going on. The gave the original a 6.

The grudge trailer reaction. As someone who watches an absurd amount of scary movies, this is the first one in a while that REALLY scared me. The grudge japanese. Rainy, dark and gloomy day in October, time to watch an all time classic of Japanese horror :D.

I can't review a remake without comparing it to the original. The original, in most cases, is always going to be better. It's true this time around as well. The Grudge 2020 is not bad, it's just not the original. The Grudge 2020 actually takes place in 2006. Well, technically, it takes place in '04, 05, and '06. It skips around from year to year while the center of the story is the house at 44 Reyburn St. in Cross River, PA. In '04 Fiona Landers (Tara Westwood) came home from Japan after being in a home afflicted by the Grudge. She brought that curse home with her to 44 Reyburn St. That became the Grudge's new home or it could have been an entirely different Grudge. In any case, it was now on U.S. soil and people were dying. Like I said, it latched itself to several different people until it latched onto the lead character, Det. Muldoon (Andrea Riseborough. I can appreciate that they didn't just redo what had already been done. By showing the Grudge affecting different people it made it a little fresher. Having said that, I still don't think it needed to be redone. That just shows a lack of creativity on the part of Hollywood, but what else is new.As the alpha male of my household this movie will not be shown in my house due to possibly pissing my pants and having the dog think im weak. 9:13 no matter how much I look, it's still scary (I'm talking about the Japanese version. The grudge 2020 cast. The grudge original. 9 minutes in and finally the movie is starting.
