Every single movie is of my tastes ??. Duuuudeee looks like a laaaadyy ?. “Hes just resting”. Yeah, I thought the same thing for my Grandfather. Why do all the Brits have such funky overbites. Anyone realize that they say oh shit and here we go again. First the good: I can save you a couple of hours of your time.

If you've seen the trailer, you've seen all the good parts. Sure, there is a pretty decent scene about two-thirds through the movie, when Felicity Jones makes a death-defying climb up the side of the balloon in an attempt to fix a broken relief valve. If you want to see this, just fast forward through the first hour-ten or so. You'll know when to start watching. And your investment in the characters will be about the same whether you watch from the start, or just jump through it. Now the bad: the rest of the movie. I understand the anger over inventing two major characters out of (ahem) thin air. Was it a nod to political correctness? Maybe. Maybe not. It doesn't matter. Imagine Felicity Jones' character as a man, and the movie would still suck. Don't bother with this one, but not because it's runaway political correctness. Avoid it because the script really is THAT bad. The movie is VERY loosely based on the real-life scientist James Glaiser, but leans heavily on the very invented character Amelia Wren, and the personal tragedy she is trying to overcome. Her back story adds nothing, and, being entirely fiction, should have been discarded during the first draft. If you're going to invent a plucky heroine, you're defeating the purpose by having her moping around, mourning a dead husband for the entire film. I generally find Eddie Redmayne to be an appealing actor, and he appears to be making a genuine attempt at breathing some life into the character of James Glaisher. However, no actor, no matter how experienced, could have saved this dogs breakfast of a script. The Aeronauts should have never gotten off the ground to begin with. Two stars because of the appealing scenery, and costumes.

There is an episode of Boondocks that looks exactly the same haha. The thing I especially love about this movie is the fact that its soooo historically accurate.

You have such a beautiful voice ilysm ???????. I'm not comfortable with the treatment of Henry Coxwell. It is so simple. The Flying Man heard what the protagonist was saying, that he wanted to quit, and was only doing this to get money for some family problem, and so he spared him. When he appears at the end, it is as a warning never to break the law again, because he'll be watching. I'll probably watch it but my Jo will always be Winona Ryder. When James Glaisher's achievements were both amazing and true, why make a movie inspired by true events? Also, way to erase Henry Coxwell. This is a regular vertical Life of Pi, that looks great. I'll watch it. I just wonder why it was made this way.
