Noémie Merlant. Céline Sciamma. Depuis peu j'aime beaucoup ecouter Adèle pour son contenu mais aussi sa forme. Elle a une reflexion philosophique et psychologique sur sa pratique artistique toujours en lien avec des interrogations personnelles engageantes. Et il y a cette prise en compte dans sa reflexion des differentes dimensions. C'est un exercice cérébrale qui demande une grande energie et qui s'exprime naturellement dans sa pratique artistique. Elle va au delà, elle creuse plutot que de repondre simplement ou jouer tel quel au 1er abord. En cela je la trouve vraiment captivante et j'aimerai tellement ecouter plus d'interview de type débats. Elle a une justesse et une maturité dans ses propos qui amène aussi à nous interroger plutôt qu'à simplement ecouter. Elle invite au débat, nous ne sommes pas seulement que dans la transmission avec elle. C'est mon point de vu personnel mais c'est super enrichissant et nourrissant. Mais aussi frustrant car j'aimerai aussi lui poser des questions et échanger et partager avec elle. C'est frustrant. Bref pour faire court : veritable orgasme cérébrale.

English Full Free DownloadPortrait de la jeune There read more. Portrait of a Lady on Fire is at times one of the best films of the decade, with stellar acting by every actress, a daring script that involves slightly taboo themes and a great, yet minimal score.
At other times though, the film is completely ruined by having too long static shots that, while showcasing the actresses' abilities, really bored me and just made me wish the film was over already. That's a feeling that is also compounded due to the slow pace present. This is especially noticeable when we transition through scenes in a sudden and choppy way, that would be more appropriate for a trailer. The worst part of the editing and the choice of having long shots is that they really turn this movie into a drag. This is a 2 hour long film, that, if it was shot differently, could have had more character development (which it really needs in regard to the relationship portrayed) instead of scenes where no one is doing anything. The only good part of the cinematography, apart from some actually good shots (like all of the campfire scene - that was beautiful) was the absolutely stunning location. To conclude, this film really disappointed me and it especially hurts since there is something truly great buried within and I can't fathom how a film that so many seem to love, has so many big issues, turning it into an amateur short film that somehow ended up being 2 hours long.Beautiful edition ??.

Watching the scene I was taken by a tremendous emotion - of witnessing this old ritual with the Breton women - possibly sung for ages - or so it seemed to me - to be taken into something so feminine, old, mysterious and beautiful beyond words - its both the human singing and the darkness and the intimacy it conways - I felt THERE and i cried the whole way through it - it felt like something deep inside opened up to something that is even deeper inside us all - waiting to come forth. You guys are legends. This is my favourite film of all time, and I watch a lot of films. After 10 years, Inglorious Bastards has been replaced and is now second to this masterpiece.

Plot [ edit] At the end of the eighteenth century, Marianne, a young painter, is teaching painting lessons. One of her students asks her about a painting of hers, which Marianne calls "Portrait of a Lady on Fire". Years prior, Marianne arrives on an isolated island in Brittany. She had been commissioned to paint a portrait of a young woman named Héloïse, who is to be married off to a Milanese nobleman. Marianne is informed that Héloïse has previously refused to pose for portraits as she does not want to be married. Marianne acts as Héloïse's hired companion to be able to paint her in secret, and accompanies her on daily walks to memorize Héloïse's features. Marianne finishes the portrait, but finds herself unable to betray Héloïse's trust and reveals her true reason for arriving. After Héloïse criticises the painting, Marianne destroys the work. Héloïse's mother is shocked to hear that Héloïse is willing to pose for Marianne over the next few days. While her mother leaves for Italy, Héloïse and Marianne's bond grows. One evening, they read the story of Orpheus and Eurydice while debating the true reason why Orpheus turned around to look at his wife. The pair help Sophie, a maid, have an abortion, and later go to a gathering where women sing and dance, during which Héloïse's dress briefly catches fire. Meanwhile, Marianne is haunted throughout the house by visions of Héloïse in a wedding dress. The next day, Marianne and Héloïse go to a cave and share their first kiss, and passionately make love later that night. Over the next few days, their romance grows stronger. Plot [ edit] At the end of the eighteenth century, Marianne, a young painter, is teaching painting lessons. One of her students asks her about a painting of hers, which Marianne calls "Portrait of a Lady on Fire". Years prior, Marianne arrives on an isolated island in Brittany. She had been commissioned to paint a portrait of a young woman named Héloïse, who is to be married off to a Milanese nobleman. Marianne is informed that Héloïse has previously refused to pose for portraits as she does not want to be married. Marianne acts as Héloïse's hired companion to be able to paint her in secret, and accompanies her on daily walks to memorize Héloïse's features. Marianne finishes the portrait, but finds herself unable to betray Héloïse's trust and reveals her true reason for arriving. After Héloïse criticises the painting, Marianne destroys the work. Héloïse's mother is shocked to hear that Héloïse is willing to pose for Marianne over the next few days. While her mother leaves for Italy, Héloïse and Marianne's bond grows. One evening, they read the story of Orpheus and Eurydice while debating the true reason why Orpheus turned around to look at his wife. The pair help Sophie, a maid, have an abortion, and later go to a gathering where women sing and dance, during which Héloïse's dress briefly catches fire. Meanwhile, Marianne is haunted throughout the house by visions of Héloïse in a wedding dress. The next day, Marianne and Héloïse go to a cave and share their first kiss, and passionately make love later that night. Over the next few days, their romance grows stronger. However, it is cut short by the inevitable return of Héloïse's mother. Marianne sketches drawings of each of them to remember each other, and bids a short farewell. As Marianne runs out of the house, she hears Héloïse say, "Turn around". She turns around and sees Héloïse in her wedding dress, appearing exactly as she did in the visions that haunted Marianne earlier. In the present, Marianne reveals that she saw Héloïse two more times. The first time she sees Héloïse at a gallery in the form of a portrait, where Héloïse is shown to be with a child?but also surreptitiously holding a book open at page 28, recalling a self-portrait of Marianne she requested on that page. The second time Héloïse is seen at a concert, overwhelmed with emotions as the orchestra plays "Summer" from Vivaldi 's Four Seasons, which Marianne once played for her on a harpsichord. Production [ edit] Principal photography began in October 2018 [10] and was completed after 38 days. [11] Filming took place in Saint-Pierre-Quiberon in Brittany and a château in La Chapelle-Gauthier, Seine-et-Marne.
