Lorsque j ai appris que le film n intégrerai pas Spiderman, j étais vraiment frileux (sachant que l histoire de Venom est très rattachée à celle de Peter Parker. Mais j ai été assez surpris de voir que le film propose une réécriture de l histoire de Venom et que ça marche. Il y a plusieurs club d œil à son histoire originelle mais ne tombe pas dans fan service. En bref, j étais assez frileux mais agréablement surpris. C est une réécriture cohérente.
