The last studio Ghibli film I had to watch it took me 9 years but I finished watching them all. August 2008 to June 2017. The art is beautiful though. Kaguyahime no monogatari Watch. Amaizing. The only problem that I had with the Takahata-Hisaishi collaboration in this movie. is that it's the only collaboration! Imagine more movies with Takahata's direction and Hisaishi's art. But, I'm glad that we got this movie.
One of the best animater movies i have seen. I rekomend all you guys and girls to see it. This is also the last movie Toshio Suzuki will do, his the producer witch also produced the succsesful movies as Ponyo, Spirit away, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle and Arrietty. See them t if you havent. My six year old daughter watched this movie and really liked it. Keep in mind the target audience people. If you're 10, 18, 45. yeah the trailer is plenty. Spirited Away is awesome. For years for a great surprise. Wtf, where's the part where she eats the chakra fruit from the Ten Tails Tree. Acias por existir?. This should have won the Oscar but goddamn 3D strikes again. Watched it, its so different from other ghibli movies its kid-friendly but the content is about what love is and its very me cry my eyeballs out and everyone else in the cinema too its AMAZING. Woah, Amazing Animation <3. Hear a lot of this soundtrack= crying for the sad core of this movie. JustWatch.
Kaguyahime no monogatari Watch stream. I have to declare that am not aware of the creator or the Japanese tale this was based on and certainly no expert in Japanese animation and/or folklore. The truth is I watched it by accident.

So this is supposed to be "One of the best movies of the year" Well, I was not impressed, at least not as much as everyone seems to be. I didn't mind the animation style, but I certainly didn't find much beauty in it, or feeling, or emotions... I looked childish and simple but with no heart, it was kind of dry. Story wise, it was unoriginal and after a while boring. And way too long: it had a promising start, but after they moved to the Capital the story stalled. It never managed to put me inside its world and make me feel something about its universe or the Princess. So to conclude, the story never moved me and the animation never talked to me... the 5 is only for the first 40mins or so and the last 15, especially the scene when she meets again with her child love.

YOU TOOK MY CHILDHOOD AWAY. I loved Spirited Away. Omg this is amazing. This is one of those moments when you realise that games these days are starting to look better than movies.
