JJ started off the new trilogy in a fun but familiar direction (like it or not I kind of understood why he did it) the film had a lot of good points along with some weaker ones. Finn was a fun new character along with Poe and of course BB8. And then Rian screwed it all up. I mean what an utter pile if cow excrement The Last Jedi was, and I've forced myself to watch it 4 times. So we come to Rise of Skywalker, thank you JJ. I am sure this trilogy would've had a different conclusion had Snoke still been alive and actually been given a character arc but Rian made sure that never happened. Regardless JJ took the mess that Rian had made did the best with it he could and I'm glad, I for one thoroughly enjoyed it and liked that we finally got some answers to the questions raised in The Force Awakens. An exhilarating end to a fantastic saga with closure for our characters we fell in love with. P.S. Disney - I'm not sure on the current state of things but if you still plan on employing Rian Johnson I'm sure there's job for him as coffee boy as he should not be allowed to direct another Star Wars film.
