3 godfathers uzerine kurulu, her karakterin bebegin ailesini araken kendi ailesi ve gecmisiyle yuzlesmesini konu alan, standard animeden uzaklasmis ve kendine has gorsel bir dili olan, yine de kucuklere tavsiye edemeyecegimiz bir film. yer yer iyice ağırlaşan temposu ve insanı yoran sulu zırtlak duygusallığıyla izlenmesi güç bir hale gelse de özellikle son 15-20 dakikalık bölümündeki eğlenceli kovalama sahneleri, her daim arka planda hazır bulunan estetik metropol görüntüleri ve iyi seçilmiş müzikleri için izlenmeye değer bir anime... hem çok komik hem çok duygusal olabilen, ele aldığı her konuyla ilgili ( aile, ev, metropol) ciddi mesajlar veren, dvd si bir kaç hafta önce türkiyede satışa çıkmış nefis bir film. peki bir holywood filminde görsek "ne saçma olmuş lan burası?! " diyeceğimiz yerleri yok mudur? vardır elbet.. ama bu bir holywood filmi değil japon anime sidir.. memories 'in ilk bolumu magnetic rose'un yazarı, anime dünyasının en sıkı senaryolarını cıkaran satsohi kon. en meşhuru perfect blue 'dur ki fight club tadı verdigini izleyenler son olarak da tokyo godfathers'ın yazarı. esin kaynagı olarak 3 godfthers gosteriliyor. filmde tokyo metropolunde "yaşayan" toplum dısı 3 evsizin hikayesi anlatılı 3 evsiz bir bebek buluyor ve annesini ararlerken hikayelerini incelikle ve teker teker izliyoruz. kadın teması çok güçlü. kadın olmak isteyen bir erkek, anne, bebek, ve evinden kacan bir kadın.. tatlı bir noel hikayesi biraz cocuksu olduguda su goturmez. "bir şeyi başarmaya çalıştığın zaman, birinin incinmesi gerekecektir. hep bir şeyleri feda etmek zorundasındır. " her ne kadar olaylar türk filmi tadında gelişse de, insanda tatlı bir gülümseme bırakan, hayata dair güzel tespitleri es geçmeyen şirin ve çok kaliteli bir anime. bir de filmin baslarinda bir yerde bizimkiler kosustururken bi sinema salonun onunden geciyorlar. salonun onunde iki filmin pek de goze carpmayan posterleri var: perfect blue ve millennium actress. boyle kucuk ayrintilari yakalamanin hazzi da bir ayri oluyormus onu da ogrenmis oldum. tesadufleriyle insani muthis mest eden bu filmde satoshi kon 'un izleyiciye kis kis gulumsedigi, tatli ve muzip bir cocuk gibi eglendigi sahneleri farkedeceksiniz. ambulans getiren travesti melek figuru, danseden kagit gokdelenler, bir turlu olmeyen olup olup gozleri acilan evsiz yasli adam, bayan hana'nin, planladigi intihari anlatirken arka planda soylediklerinin aynen gerceklesiyor olmasi... minik minik bir suru gume gitmeyen ayrinti. ote yandan tabii ki bircok filmde oldugu gibi burda da aile terapisti rolune burunulmus, basarili da olunmustur, ozgurce konusabilmenin sevgiyi besleyen ana damar olmasi, herkesin kendi yasam tarzini degistirecek gucu oldugu seklindeki liberalimsi anafikirler de genc beyinlere iletilmistir. extralarda miyoko'yu seslendiren ilginc sac toplama sekilleri olan arkadasin satoshi ile yaptigi flortik roportaji izleyebilir, film boyunca tokyo'dan fotograflasmis manzaralari izleyebilir, en sonda da 9. senfoniyi japonca dinleyebilirsiniz. hersey bir yana, japonca seslendirme ve ingilizce altyazi ile izledigim bu filmde beni en mutlu eden sey "höö? " unleminin kullanim zenginligi ve estetigiydi. kırmızı ve mavi canavarların müthiş mutluluk planının buruk sonu gibi bi sonu olan anime. bu aralar yakından tanık olduğum bi gerçeklik olan mutsuz evlerin çöp evlere dönüşmesi de filmde yerini almıştır. (bkz: çöp evler) dünyanın herhangi bir yerinde geçebilecek bir hikayeye dayanan, muzip, mucizelerle umut pompalayan anime... ?.

Yoshitoki Ōima - A Silent Voice (about a deaf girl) Tatsuyuki Nagai - Anthem of the heart (about a girl loosing her ability to talk through a fairy) Hiroyuki Okiura - A Letter To Momo (about a girl meeting 3 Yōkai ) Takahiro Omori - Hotarubi no mori e (about a girl meeting a ghost in a forest and becoming friends with him) Keiichi Sugiyama - Origin - Spirits of the Past (dystopia movie, a young girl gets awaken after 300 years) Akio Nishizawa - Symphony in August (story of a girl whos dream it is to sing) All really great movies. tried to describe the main plot in as little words as just a bit so you know what it is about.
Wow. you are good. This was just purely terrifying. Oi noni tou tokyo movie. The only one I'm not particularly a fan of is Gin's voice. Its not bad by any means but for an alcoholic bum, the voice doesn't match. I would expect something more gruff and lazy sounding. These were beautifully animated pieces wow. Oi noni tou tokyo spa. We don't cook. we don't clean. if it gets too dirty, we move -Hokusai best couch potato quote. hahahah. Although not quite up to par to Miyazaki efforts, Tokyo Godfathers surprised with it's good story lines, entertainment values, and background animation ghting effects were very well done in many scenes while motion maybe not as much so but above satisfactory. Living in Japan before, maybe I'm a bit partial to seeing the wonderful wintry backdrops of Tokyo, but the movie had more going for it. I enjoyed each character's own story-lines and how they were interwoven and brought together. (spoiler) One loose end that was never brought up though was the old-man who died, what was his identity? Thought they would fill that in. The ending was very well and contained a great "wow" moment that might've been a bit over the top but nonetheless fitting.

Oi noni tou tokyo live. Oi noni tou tokyo market. The most grounded Kon film and one if my favourite films. It is a really beautiful film and more people should watch it, at least once. Dam son this looks amazing. Hopefully I can see it in theaters. I straight up started crying while you were describing Hana's fall and rescue. This is genuinely the best essay I've ever seen.

Oi nonoi tou. This strikes me as a movie you will either accept whole-heartedly or trash whole-heartedly. It is shamelessly sentimental and is built on a series of absurd coincidences, but the amazing thing is it all works. The coincidences could feel like a shameless plot device but instead there is just a sense of wonderful magic, as though somehow the foundling the movie is built around lives an oddly charmed existence that transforms the lives of those around it.

The movie does a wonderful job of making its characters both broad but human. This is not one of those cheesy movies that make homeless people seem ultimately wiser and nobler than the rest of us, but while they are all deeply flawed they all have a redeeming warmth. The movie is both very funny and very touching, and is really about the miracle of love in a world of harsh realities. If you're not willing to totally suspend your disbelief and give in to the movie's blatant flouting of all concepts of reality then you'll probably hate it, but if you want a charming fable this is a great choice.

I didnt think I would hear “God is the health bar,” and be EXTREMELY surprised and find new knowledge to a scene I didnt take notice before. A baby thats kidnapped gets dumped and is found by a homeless gay couple. One man names the baby Kiyoto after his daughter. By a strange twist, he meets his long lost daughter, though the homeless man left his family and from then were heard treated to one bizarre scene after another. The couple realized the baby is still lost and try to find the real mother, a woman claiming to be the mother takes the baby, but the gay couple realize she is a fake and hunt her down. Don't want to give anymore info except this is one funny anime.
