Watch full length hayes full. I watched this movie with my girl on a hunch, we seem to have a knack for finding good movies that are a bit more obscure. Initially, the synopsis and even the trailer still left me wondering what exactly I was about to watch, which is a good thing in this instance. It doesn't take long for VHYes to start making you feel all kinds of ways, especially uncomfortable. The movie is very comedic, never really gets too vulgar or obscene, but deviates from just pure "comedy" several times... reaching the realm of semi-horror at some segments, vague mindfuck surrealism at others and even a bit of realistic drama. Nearly all the bases are covered. The movie is filmed entirely on VHS, and takes place in 1987 (the year I was born! ), which is impressive in and of itself. It completely captures that 1980s vibe better than Stranger Things or anything else could ever hope to. There is also a lot of meta humor in the movie, as it references itself several ways and breaks not just the fourth wall, but even fifth and sixth walls. Honestly, what really impressed me the MOST about this amazing movie, was when I looked into the director of the movie, hoping for further gems. Several segments within VHYes seem to be interwoven pieces from earlier works he has done, some dating back a couple years. Not knowing that while watching the movie but finding it out later made me appreciate the film that much more - that somebody was able to accurately articulate several different ideas in a coherent and cohesive production. I've seen a number of good movies recently, for sure, but VHYes is the type of movie where I know other aficionados would really appreciate it, where as the general public might be left scratching their heads. This is the type of movie I recommend to people who have "seen it all". I am truly hoping this movie doesn't get lost in the shuffle of other crap coming out all the time - it is much more than some experimental concept piece and the work that went towards it must have been monumental. Kudos to everybody involved in the project and I hope some of you take my review here as a clear indication that YOU NEED TO SEE THIS MOVIE. :).

But I think we have here is a cabin fever type movie with the purposely bad acting inappropriate humor scenes bad choices for law enforcement type characters AKA Winston the 12 year old cop on the BMX bike but I think this movie however will not be anywhere as entertaining. No I wouldn't watch this I'd rather get kicked in the dick numerous times over and over.
