You know, over the past few years growing up - roughly from the ages of 14 up until now, nearly turning 19, I've found myself in a really odd position with my political opinion. While I've always considered myself left-leaning and a libertarian, I was definitely stuck in the alt-right for some years having gone down the alt-right rabbit hole without realising it. The whole anti-SJW part was the main engagement there, but I definitely had some odd opinions for somebody of my disposition just because of the content I had consumed. I'm pretty much out of it now, but it still lingers and that's what annoys me - I'll hear people make their arguments and agree with them to an extent, but given that I often watch reactionary channels as opposed to the main channels I'm instantly pulled back by counter-arguments and I'm just really glad to have people like you on this site keeping me sane. I don't wanna become a hateful asshole, so this kinds of videos really help me re-cement my standing within my original, or at least close to my original, political position. A bit ranty but really what I'm getting at is thank you for making this kind of content, combating these toxic mindsets. It means a lot to myself and probably a lot of others too.
