That is one hell of an expensive movie. Your dad getting you back from the wrong flight like a boss. So like a different snatch. The name is phag. Come on phag get the phag out. Sounds like a delightful retelling of 2000's Erin Broklovich. Best upcoming movies? really? God help us. Totally agree! Loved every second! Saw it two times! Also being a Geordie from Newcastle myself, loved Hunnam a lot in this. Never normally one to want representation and all that. But loved seeing a Fellow Geordie on the big screen! Makes me wonder are Americans and other parts of the world aware of the different parts of the UK other than London? Do people know what Newcastle is? I'm genuinely curious ? Ps. Great review yet again Grace! ?.
One of the most quotable movies Ive seen in a while. Why does he act so dry. Don't you just love when characters watch footage of something that happens on a screen but what they're watching is actual movie footage? Like how did you get that angle during a fight at 1:03.
Just Woooooowww My late Dad was a Purple Heart recipient from the Vietnam war. I miss him so much and I learned so much from his fascinating life. King arthur was so underrated, that was a solid movie, it wasnt perfect but it sure as hell was entertaining and felt fresh.

In all Guy Ritchie's crime caper movies there is, perhaps, an amorality and glorification of violence which ordinarily I would find unedifying. But only once, in the morally bankrupt RocknRolla, did this ruin the film and have me booing, metaphorically, at the end; his undoubted talent as a filmmaker has glossed over these shortcomings on all other occasions.
The Gentlemen is the latest in the series, written and directed by Mr Ritchie. Matthew McConaughey plays drug lord Mickey Pearson who is looking to sell his British interests, attracting the attention of other underworld figures keen to inherit his thriving empire. Guy Ritchie's sharp direction and non-lateral storytelling are on top form. The script is crisp and witty, the continual plot twists keep you on your toes. If you feel some of the Mockney dialogue is a little bombastic, well, it'd be like going to watch a Carry On film and then complaining about double entendres - over the top dialogue is what he does; it's his trademark. And his homage to The Long Good Friday is a nice touch and contains a further surprise. Most of the cast are also on top form, clearly enjoying themselves. Special mention to Hugh Grant playing a seedily odious private investigator-cum-blackmailer. His portrayal is something of a meta joke, channelling his hatred of the British tabloid hacks who have famously pursued the illegal tactics which his character practices. Perhaps the only failure is Henry Golding, in his first role outside rom-com, not quite convincing as a would-be Pablo Escobar. And it's a shame the excellent Colin Farrell's role isn't beefed up more. But these are mere quibbles. The Gentlemen is a fast paced and laugh out loud action movie, an enjoyable holiday treat for adults.
I love it when brown says “what how much do I lift” “you couldnt lift a wheel of cheese you c* t” hahaha. I will give you 100 Quintillion. cash. Your still several zero's short. ? sure that Henry golding would play namor in MCU. I'm going to watch this just for Colin farrels scene. Random GTA V guy has had enough. Guy Ritchie: Colin, I want you to imagine you are a Colin Farrell type character.
Alright alright alright. Matthew McConaughey playing tic-tac-toe by himself ?. 4:04 I've never seen a chicken wear clothes. I'm surprised there wasn't a tribute to Kobe from Chris. He's such a dignified man, thought he would have given Kobe a shout out. Before I get slated for Kobe being a sportsman and Chris being a film reviewer. Remember that Kobe transcended sport and even won an Oscar for a short film. I'm just saying it would have been nice to hear nice words, from a nice man.
Jeremy: First of all. Me: Oh shit, here we go again. Charlie is the son of George Harrison. Confirmed. I just wanted to listen to some sneaker pimps... RIP Avicii. Glad they paid Craig enough to make this actually decent, cant imagine the dumpster fire this would be with just a female 007. God damn, this man truly is a Titan of his industry.
