Check out the comments in r/comicbooks on the Bloodshot movie poster: I actually found this to be very reminiscent of the early days of Valiant comics in the 90's. Before the Unity cross-over, I would talk to people about Valiant comics, but fans and those in the industry that were all in for Marvel and DC would usually just talk shit about Valiant, or just say that it looked bad. After Unity, everyone was chasing them, but the hate was still around with some, of course. Just figured I would share my thoughts. had to sort of vent after reading some of those comments. Crazy!
Streaming Online. Looks interesting I just saw the trailer. I wasn't even going to post anything about this. But after reading it all the way through, I think I will. If only to defend Valiant a little bit. I'm a little older than you by about 20 years (based on your 7th/8th grade mention). My fascination with comics began when my grandma gave me my dads small collection of golden age comics. I grew up on DC and Marvel. Interesting side note, comics are what led to my love of reading books. At the time that Valiant came out, I was purchasing approximately 75-100 titles a month. I would stop in at the comic book shop at least once a week, knew the owners and some other buyers on a first name basis, and pre-ordered everything i bought. There was also a book store upstairs which obtained some of my cash. Valiant came about from a failed attempt by Jim Shooter to acquire Marvel. Three of the early Valiant titles used golden age characters the Shooter bought the rights to. The early Valiant titles, under Shooter's writing and/or editing, were a decent read. With Shooter's departure from the company, things started to go a different direction. There was a cohesiveness to the stories when Shooter was in charge that disappeared when he left. The writing and art talent was still there but without someone looking / creating a longer vision. Bloodshot came out after Jim left. I probably have still have the first issue but I don't think I bought any after that. And when Acclaim took Don't misunderstand me as a Jim Shooter fanboy. He had issues. But the stories from Valiant when he was in charge were ones that were good, in my opinion. I gave up comics in 1993, when my daughter was born. My disposable income for comics was no longer disposable. And I don't have a single regret over that. And I've said way more than I planned. If you read my drivel this far, you are an amazing person in my eyes. TL;DR Valiant started out decent and went downhill from there.

I just watched Terminator Dark Fate the trailer is literally beat by beat the entire film. No surprises other than that awesome opening. level 1 This will make or break Valiant Comics level 2 I don't doubt you can make a good Bloodshot movie but man there are other Valiant properties that are way more unique that could grab your audience. Archer + Armstrong, Harbinger or The Eternal Warrior. Edit: Meant Eternal Warrior level 1 Deus Ex: Human Revolution the movie. Vin diesel better have the line, "I never asked for this. I do think around The Last Witchhunter is what this will do, potentially a bit more if it grosses well in China. All told, this doesn't even look like it could be one of those 'bad but totally fun because of the charm' ? it looks like it's going to be plodding, boring film with rote action and action beats, a generous use of rapid cuts, unnecessary use slow-mo, and many a low grumble.

Only one of the 17 producers produced the Fast movies. It would be just as accurate to say 'from producers of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. ' Arguably, it would be more accurate to say 'from producers of Holmes and Watson, ' as at least 2 of the producers who brought you this also made that. What I'm telling you is this thing has piece-of-shit written all over it.
