#1 sound,brings me to late 80s early 90s where i was starting to listen electronic music,i was fascinated!so do i now after 30 years!oooww thanx aphex... The Originality is UNDER 9000. I listen to Die Antwoord with my 15 year old daughter when her mother is not around. Our little secret. Her mom does not approve. This man is beyond brilliant. I have a couple of his CDs and finally got a new car with a decent system (and working CD player) and have been re-listening to his masterpieces. His newer album Syro got me through a rough breakup years ago, the range of emotion is incredible.
The person that had this videoclip idea is a friking genius. 0:51 these outfits looks like the one the heroine of deadman wonderland wears. This music video gave me such bad nightmares when I was a little kid, it still freaks me out to this day. What a Directorial Debut from our own Ant Timpson! Dark, irreverent, downright laugh out loud hilarious and some superb characterisation.

Come to daddy watch movie 2017. Just listening to this made my mind flow in all sorts of directions. Come to Daddy Watch movies. I beginning to think all these other reviews are fake and from the cast or friends of. This film is NOT COMEDY, it is NOT HORROR and it is not a THRILLER. This film is beyond meanlingless with absolute no purpose except to be another form of art. The dialogue is nothing special, the character building is nothing special, there was 0 laughs, there was 0 fear or anything really horror related - blood and death doesnt mean something is horror genre. And there was no thriller aspects, 1 single twist in the film and it happens in the first half of the film. Dont waste your time.Kid : Daddy? Do I LoOk... What starts innocently enough, takes twisted turn after twisted turn in a journey that had me enthralled after a steady opening. This film certainly left an impression. Elijah Wood perfectly cast and Michael Smiley, one of my favourite actor's (The Lobster) almost unrecognisable and with some of the most hilarious dialogue I've ever heard. This will create conversation for sure and I hope Timpson enjoys the success this film deserves. Just a shame it wasn't shot on these shores. Etwas fahrig, mit einem Rollkoffer, der kaum für das unwägbare Gelände geeignet ist, macht sich der selbsternannte Musikkünstler aus L. A. also auf den Weg den unbekannten Vater kennenzulernen. Welche Hoffnungen auf späte Versöhnung, Akzeptanz oder sogar Liebe er sich im Vorfeld auch gemacht haben mag, schon die ersten Momente mit dem abweisenden, rauen, ihn misstrauisch beäugend Mann in der Tür des atemberaubenden Strandhauses, der sich als sein Vater vorstellt, machen klar, dass diese Familienzusammenführung nicht reibungslos verlaufen wird. Das sich in erwartbarer Weise daraus entwickelnde, durchaus gewaltbereite Katz-und-Maus-Spiel vor einsamer Kulisse, ausgetragen zwischen Vater und Sohn, wird allerdings schon bald vor allem zu einem Spiel mit den Publikumserwartungen, denen der Film hakenschlagend immer wieder auszuweichen weiß. Dass Come to Daddy es schafft so leichtfüßig sowohl die Emotionalität, die Spannung, den Horror, aber vor allem den Witz seiner Geschichte zu erzählen, ohne in einen dieser Modi gänzlich abzutauchen, ist zu großen Teilen dem fantastischen Cast geschuldet. Allen voran Elijah Wood, der Norval, diesen ängstlichen, verwundbaren Hipster, so spielt, dass man immer mit, aber nur selten über ihn lachen kann. Norvals Charakter bleibt allerdings nicht das einzige Highlight in diesem bis in die Nebenrollen toll besetzten Film. Auch abseits der Besetzung ist Come to Daddy ein im besten Sinne handwerklich guter Film. Der tolle Soundtrack, aber vor allem das fantastische Kostüm und das in seinen Details liebevoll gestaltete Haus des Vaters schaffen ein wunderbares Setting, in dem die Figuren, seien sie auch noch so seltsam, vom Moment ihres Auftretens klar gezeichnet werden und sich nicht erst in umständlich künstlichen Dialogen dem Publikum bekannt machen müssen. Die vergleichsweise kurze Laufzeit von knapp 90 Minuten ist damit von einem großartigen Timing bestimmt. Augenblicke grotesker Gewalt halten sich dabei die Waage mit guten, durchaus selbstreflexiven Gags, ohne dass der Film dabei zur reinen Genreparodie wird. Ant Timpsons Film ist ein emotionaler und zugleich lustiger Horrortrip, dessen liebevolle Schrägheit vor allem eine große Liebe zum Medium Film und dessen vielfältigen, auch abseitigen Ausprägungen zum Ausdruck bringt. Level 1 Norval Greenwood, a privileged man-child arrives at the beautiful and remote coastal cabin of his estranged father, who he hasn't seen in 30 years. He quickly discovers that not only is dad a disapproving jerk, he also has a shady past that is rushing to catch up with him. Now, hundreds of miles from his cushy comfort zone, Norval must battle with demons both real and perceived in order to reconnect with a father he barely knows. Rotten Tomatoes: 89% level 1 Seeing Elijah’s character’s mustache is both funny and terrifying enough for me to not see the film. level 1 I wish he would do another straight horror like he did with Maniac. I usually can’t stand horror comedy. They are rarely ever funny or scary. He has a real eye for and knowledge of horror. I’m surprised he’s done so many horror comedies without doing a straight horror. level 2 He awesome in maniac Completely changed goodbye horse for me.
