@80sLizzie Are you really that blind? Really? The war would still be happening, just without the soldiers it would become nuclear - thus more people would die. More over, the war is not illegal. By your reasoning, all wars are illegal. Even in the world wars, innocent people died on both sides and so, though it is very sad that it has made orphans and widdows, it is not the first war to have done this. Two weeks ago I wrote on this page and said this was brilliant,well I was WRONG,without a doubt its the most moving and emotional piece I have ever heard at the Festival of Remembrance,I have taken part in that Festival, we had to march down that central stairway with a spotlight on us and march across that small arena,it was like a thousand miles so for this group of Ladies to go out and sing without breaking down in that Hall was Totally Outstanding,My Respects The Mlitary Wives Choir ROCK. Military Wives was just absolutely brilliant. From the moment it started to the rolling credits, I did not move, I was 100% enthralled with the characters and the relationships they had. I cried many many times throughout, found bits heartbreaking, but still I came away feeling lighter with a warm glow inside.
I laughed, I cried and I cried some more. The last film I saw that was that moving, was Kramer vs Kramer. I loved it. Military wives benefits. There's of little sister from is it which can't eat true I' fat but I'm other times lines I'm fairly proportioned and great teeth.
Military wives choirs. Already have watched this film, its really really good! The ending is fascinating. Military Wives is as formulaic as movies go, regardless the film is surprisingly good and it uses the formula really well. However it never aspires to be anything else preventing it from becoming a classic amongst the genre. I haven't been familiar with the true story but from the start, you just know where it is all gonna go. It still works well but nothing is a surprise because of that. It still has some great moments and a fair amount of heart It is seriously enjoyable and it is a likeable movie with a great cast. Kristen Scott Thomas and Sharon Horgan are great here. I'm sure there are many people who will like this film. I just can't see that much greatness in it. It's formulaic and does it's best to be a lovely and charming film but it does it in such a manipulative way, and I hate it when films do that. It is still worth watching though.Just watched this film. This film blew my socks off. It properly made me laugh then made me cry. made me want to sing then hug someone.
