Country - Czech Republic. Runtime - 126Minutes. It's 2031, seventeen years after authorities in seventy-nine countries decided collectively to combat global warming with the coolant CW-7. The result was the Earth being immediately sent into a deep freeze, killing all human life except a handful who now live on an "ark", a revolutionary train built before 2014 by a train aficionado named Wilford (Ed Harris), the train which at that time was considered useless and self-indulgent. The train is required to be constantly moving to generate energy for life inside, it which circumnavigates the globe on a single continuous track once every year. The train is still controlled in all of its aspects by Wilford, who has created three separate classes housed in different parts of the train: the privileged "one percent", who are at the front of the train, the workers who support both ends and occupy the middle of the train, and the "tail people", the masses who live at the back of the train like cattle in a windowless cattle car, they being solely fed protein bars, whose ingredients the tail people do not know. The face of Wilford's ideology to those in the tail end is Minister Mason (Tilda Swinton), as Wilford never ventures to that end of the train. Some of the policies which Wilford has implemented is taking many of the children from the tail end for an unknown purpose never to be seen by the people in the tail end again, and committing occasional indiscriminate genocide in the tail end, most of the tail people believing as a method of population control, and to demonstrate his dictatorial power in an effort to have a complacent populace amongst the masses. There have been many attempts of revolution by the tail people in the past, all quashed by Wilford. Curtis (Chris Evans), one of the tail people, wants to attempt another revolution, he believing all past attempts having failed because they have focused on Wilford, as opposed to what he feels needs to occur for power: take control of the engine at the front. Supporting Curtis in this fight are, amongst others: Gilliam (Sir John Hurt), the wise old man; Edgar (Jamie Bell), who Curtis took under his wing when he became orphaned in the early years; and Tanya (Octavia Spencer) and Andrew (Ewen Bremner), who want to find their children taken away. Along the way, they have to co-opt Namgoong Minsoo (Song Kang-ho), an addict of a synthetic hallucinogen called Kronole, he who designed the security system, namely the locking mechanism of the gates between all the train cars. As Curtis and his team try to work their way from car to car from the tail to the front, their priorities are influenced by what they see, what they learn, and by revelations including secrets from their individual pasts. genre - Drama. Free download snowpiercer full movie. This train is senseless. Sure it is a metaphorical train, but there are so many pointless fights, killings and stupid actions by the characters that after a while I was annoyed by the whole thing.

Here and there you will find some good visuals (the train running in a frozen world, the upper classes luxury) and some creepy/fascinating characters (i.e. the "sweet" children teacher or the Tilda Swinton's one) but the prolonged fightings are really bad and boring, adding nothing to the story. In order to rexist till the end you have to suspend twice your disbelief because here we have a train perpetually running around a frozen world for 17 years but. we see people eating meat and eggs, we see even fishes and insects without explaining words (or images) about food or animal sources. To me the most annoyng thing is the fact that on this train groups of people are suddenly starting to shot or beat the main characters often without apparent reasons. A good idea with a bad realization.

Despite what most say, HE DID NOT DO THIS FOR PLEASURE! he was impaling only THIEVES, LIERS and invaders of Wallachia, mostly punishing those that opposed the ways of God. There was no jail time or captures. He executed them on sight, impaling them to set an example. Because he was so straight with his executions and filled his entire country with impaled bodies terrifying everyone, people started to think that he is evil. Until to the point the story of Dracula started to emerge. Another reason why he was considered evil was that he impaled even a lot of rich people that tried to betray him. Because of this, those that opposed him tried to make the people hate and fear him by spreading FALSE stories in the hope that his support would diminish and he could be taken down from his throne. Here are the 2 most infamous strategies that he used to defeat the ottoman empire even if he was greatly outnumbered. 1. He and his men chopped off an entire forest and dressed it as soldiers. When the ottoman soldiers arrived, they retreated frightened of the numbers Vlad armies were posing. 2. 'The night attack. He and a few men dressed as ottomans went into their enemy camp, starting a riot under the reason Get up and fight, Romanians have dressed as ottomans and are sabotaging our camp. This way the ottoman forces slaughtered themselves. After battles, all of the fallen bodies were impaled to set an example. Make no mistake, the Ottoman forces could have crushed Romanian forces like bugs. The armies used for their campaign were not to conquer, but to recover the tribute Romanians were supposed to give. This means the numbers of soldiers sent to oppose Vlad was fairly low compared with the entire Ottoman armada! This is a short and very simplified version of the real Dracula history. The legend is nice, but too far from truth. I like that in this movie Vlad is presented as a DEFENDER, ready to sacrifice all that he has for the sake of his family and people. One way or another this is what he actually did, and i hope this movie will resurrect at least the intentions of Vlad.

This is losing less lame files from streaming Snowpiercer (Rompenieves) like Netflix, Amazon Video. Do not, under ANY circumstances, allow yourself to be subjected to this garbage. It was awful from start to finish. The only reason I stuck it out was Tilda Swinton. She was apparently working with a different script and looked embarrassed throughout. The script was clichéd and the camera work amateurish (no disrespect to amateurs intended. The director should never be allowed NEAR a camera again. It wasn't the worst movie i have ever seen but it's in the Top 10. I give it 3 stars only because i felt sorry for Swinton. She deserves better as do the rest of the cast. I hope the actors all received healthy paychecks because there really is no other reason for doing this bomb. I can't imagine anyone looking at this script and screaming "YES YES! I MUST do this." With any luck, we'll never hear from the director again.

It was similar enough to draw inspiration from the beautiful French graphic novel but different enough so that if you have read the graphic novel, you still won't know how the movie develops or ends. There were parts that were heartbreaking and others that were laugh out loud funny and a lot of action sequences for the boys. It is a movie about class systems and the evil they can create. There was even a Soylent Green part that grossed me out even though I knew it was going to come sooner or later. It was visually very stunning and the acting was as can always be expected from Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton and the rest of the cast some of the best. I recommend this movie to everyone.
