FATHER: What is wrong with you?. STEPMOTHER: Now that the children are sleeping, I have to tell you something. FATHER: What is it?. STEPMOTHER: We don´t have enough food to feed the children. Tomorrow morning we will take them into the deep woods we and will leave them there. FATHER: I will not do that to my own children!. Do you think that I will leave them there where they can be in danger!. STEPMOTHER: Then the four of us will die. NARRATOR: She insisted so much in that idea, that the woodcutter finally agreed. NARRATOR: While they were walking, Hansel was leaving a trail of breadcrumbs in order to find their way back home. When they reached the deep forest she said.
